ImPantsAtThis
If you remember, sixfiguretemps.com was one of the sites registered by Take-Two a while ago. Do you think this is where we'll hire our crew members for heists -- on the in-game internet? The name certainly fits bank robbers. Darkgamr
could very well be, would they actually legally need to have the domain registered in real life to use it in their fictional internet though?

I think it's gonna be used as a promotional site, like the epsilon program; also, it doesn't HAVE to be registered in real life for in-game use. @Palm3: Here you go http://m.joystiq.com/2011/02/27/take-two-r...-gta-v-shows-u/ Edited May 31, 2013 by ImPantsAtThis
Jack0711
could very well be, would they actually legally need to have the domain registered in real life to use it in their fictional internet though? Well wouldn't they have to make sure they had the domain, because say they didn't register sixfiguretemps.com but used it in game, and then somebody made a real life sixfiguretemps.com, there would be a conflict, with some people getting confused. I reckon Take Two thought it was much safer to register the sites. Considering this game, registering a site wouldn't even make the tiniest of dents on their profit, so why not? ImPantsAtThis
Website is blank here. Yeah, they don't have it running yet, and probably won't for a while; the interesting thing is the domain name, the ideas in your head it creates and possible applications in the game along with the aother domains listed above. Yea, people have a tendancy to try and sue for things like that. They would take it to court on the grounds that it could be harmful to their image etc and would try to claim compensation for damages etc. That's why a lot of the GTA world websites have names which you would likely not find in real life (babiesovernight.com) It's just safer to take the precaution

Chris Fromage
I don't understand it... Are those websites from R*? And if yes, what is it about? It doesn't look like those epsilon, cluck'n bell, ammunition websites...
Palm3
I copied this from some website: "In GTA IV, Isaac Hammerstein is the step-father of Lazlow and owns Isaac Hammerstein and Daughters Funeral Services." This is the only link to GTA I can find..
ImPantsAtThis
@Chris: My reckoning is that they are 'sample' sites, and will go up on the real web to show what we can expect from V's internet, while six figure temps shows of recruitment for heists. @Palm3: They were registered by TTWO, and don't sound like they would fit in any other universe except GTA's. ImPantsAtThis
I don't think there'll be that many sites, and all of the ones listed by joystiq except six figure temps seem to be 'fodder', that is, not doing anything significant, whereas SFT (as I'm gonna call it) seems it will serve a purpose in-game. StepY0gameUP
I honestly believe this is a parody of a reality show like apprentice or one of those job shows. Says six figure meaning money. Ex. $100,000. And temps meaning temps for jobs. This seems more logical to mean than a site made to hire criminals.
