K20
Basically i've got a water softener and its about 12 years old. On Wednesday it started to heavily leak out resin beads from the softener into the cold tank, so much so that my water tank is full of it, and its still working its way round the water system. i've isolated the softener so all water going into the tank is direct. i've fished out almost all of the beads from the tank. Because the softener is out of its 10 year warranty, it'll be expensive just to call someone to take a look, £95 + vat just to call out. is there a way i can refill the softener with new beads and also fix the main cause of the softener? i haven't opened up the resin tank, in case i bust it up even more. this is the one i have: http://www.fountainsofteners.co.uk/crown-water-softener beads collected in bucket [i'm assuming i got most of it]: Photo 1 Photo
