Exactly what bridge is this?

Some of you may have seen this bridge I have pointed out hidden in one of the earlier screenshots that R* released. Now, before you go saying "IT'S THE VINCENT THOMAS BRIDGE. INB4LOCK" let me point out some things.

Here is the screenshot that I am referring to.

Here is the original screenshot just in case you need it

Full Screen (R* website)

Anyway, let's begin...

Point 1: The bridge is red, unlike the Vincent Thomas Bridge, which is grey. Take a look here:

Point 2: Look at the structure of the Vincent Thomas Bridge, then compare it to the bridge in the screenshot.

user posted image

Notice how the thing I circled is a lot thicker and differently shaped than the bridge in the other screen. Also, take a look at the little things I have circled here aswell.

user posted image

Now, look back at the other screen. There should be one of those little things at the very top, and there isn't.

--------------------

I'm not saying this is the San Fierro bridge. Hell, I may be wrong, it could be the Vincent Thomas bridge, but it doesn't look like it to me. I just want to see what your opinion is on this. I also think it's strange we haven't seen this bridge in any other screenshots. Another member pointed out that there was the same looking bridge in Trailer 1 at the windmill scene hidden in the background, but I didn't see anything. I even changed the contrast and brightness a bit and still nothing. Maybe you can pick something out of it.

In fact, now that I look at it, tilt your computer back and forth and look at the circled area. You can sort of see two figured that look like a bridge.

So... back to main question for you guys...

Exactly what bridge is this?

Not the first time I've seen this being mentioned but to be honest I forgot, I forgot the name of it sadly since I haven't answered that question since October or so

A crane I hear? Maybe? From certain angles.

Like I said before, it looks really nothing like a crane.

It sort of looks like the Kincaid Bridge from San Fierro. I wouldn't get your hopes up though...

What? I think you may be confused. I'm talking about the bridge hidden in the pic, not the one to the right

See point 2 in the OP.

No, it's NOT the Golden gate. So don't even try and create confusion.

The bridge you see in Trevor's screenshot is the Vincent Thomas. It appears "red" because.... well... It's dark.

Hes clearly near the port of LS, you can see the LS skyline in the background.

Did I say it was the Golden Gate Bridge? Nope. I'm saying it doesn't look like the VTB.

His right, now that I see the SECOND PICTURE it's clear that it is just the Vincent Thomas.

Golden Gate... DENIED!

It's the Vincent Thomas. End of it. Done deal......

You can cycle throughout the Mapping LS topic and see this question pop up numerous times.

It isn't the Golden gate, nor is it any other type of bridge that would suggest another city.

If you look under Vincent Thomas Bridge you can see something similar to one in the picture.

I'm still not really convined that it's just merely the VTB. Looks nothing like it confused.gif

Isn't much of a picture to look at to be honest. Can't really tell.. Is there a bridge even that close to the end of that one anyway, doesn't seem very logical that there would be another bridge going some where at the beginning of that one.

Sorry man, appreciate the effort and curiosity, but it must be the Vincent Thomas for the following reasons:

1) The area of interest is Los Santos (LA)

2) There are very few notoriously complex bridges (i.e. suspension bridges) in LA

3) The one in the screenshot that Trevor's laser is pointing at is the Gerald Desmond bridge

4) The Vincent Thomas is the only major bridge in proximity to the Gerald Desmond, thus making geographical sense

5) The reason for Vincent Thomas' red tinge and lack of intricacies in that particular screenshot is due to the darkness, fog effects, and industrial lighting from the docks

"The Vincent Thomas Bridge is a 1,500-foot long suspension bridge, crossing the Los Angeles Harbor in the U.S. state of California, linking San Pedro, Los Angeles, with Terminal Island. The bridge is part of State Route 47"

Isn't this part of the area near the Harbor? Then it's confirmed.

Firstly look at the blueprint map released by rockstar. These are clearly container cranes.

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but that's definitely the Thomas Vincent Bridge it's no way the Gold Gate Bridge.
