It's one of the many popular opinions that there should be a jail system. If you play gta to purely to go on mass killing sprees for hours unend/think paying 50 grand for killing 80 people is too expensive (when you will have hundreds of millions), re-evaluate your psychological health. I rest my case. Buy a new copy of GTA V every time you die. Or pay the 100k bail and continue enjoying a beautiful day Would a mass murderer be released if he payed a bail? No, that would be unrealistic. Because somehow realism means good. To a certain extent, the bail system is in place to make sure things don't get "too real" Similar penalty as the games in past, but a higher incentive for actually getting away from the cops I think the current system is fine. But that wouldn't be an incentive really. It would be punishment for the people that play GTA normally. And seriously, a jail system is not even close to being wanted by 10% of the GTA community. The penalty scales up with the severity of the crime But scales down with the power and money you have Paying the fine like rdr will be less annoying than having your rare guns taken How does one go from a crowbar to dual wielding rocket launchers? Won't be easy to rack up 5 stars in the first 10 minutes of the game. Say you managed to pull that off but can't afford the fine. 5 minutes of jailtime isn't the end of the world when you have 2 other characters. All 3 protagonists are already semi rich. And Michael being wealthy I don't see why paying bail would be such a big problem. More money=>more guns=>more crime/stars(killing peds/robberies)=>more money There won't be a shortage of money for bail/you get to keep your guns. Its a working system. Unless you're not planning to buy businesses or play any of the missions. (so much profit) If that's the case, GTA is not for you. You won't get any of the big guns in the game being broke. Go find mass murder simulator for your 360 Just don't make the fines too over the top expensive (Like 100,000 per murder) so I can pay bail easier, and you can have all the jail you want. I really do think the fine should be $100 though. I mean, if you want to stay in jail you can just not pay it anyways. That sounds good. Remember there's a prison in IV too, totally useless... to be fair iv didn't add a whole lot they were hell bent on the storyline and they are going all out on V so i wouldn't be surprised if they made it work. Killerdude Posted May 31, 2013 Share Posted May 31, 2013 Instead of adding realism, why not a realistic FEEL, we do not need to go to jail every f*cking time we so much as fart in their general direction. I do however like that scaling that your doing with the fines, however I think they should leave those extreme fines for the highest of wanted levels. So like 1-4 stars is a set fine.
