Countryside and it's not close.

I'll play the story but outside of that, I don't see myself spending much time in the city.

Countryside. and they definitely have to make it expansive and with lots to do. Even though RDR was cool, beautiful scenery, etc. I have to admit after a little while in the country you'd get bored (after you've explored all parts thoroughly) just because after total exploration there wasn't much to see/do.

Now if they have several small towns, something similar to Montgomery, Blueberry, Angel Pine, Las Payasadas, El Quebrabos, etc. and each has explorable buildings, NPCs and what not, then it's going to be amazing.

The city is more important to me. Excited for them both, but I hope they put the same amount of effort into both.

Well, there you go. It seems more people will be pleased with a decent sized city surrounded by a tone of countryside.

Countryside, only because I want to see more of it GTAs (like SA), but only by a bit because Los Santos looks awesome.

I'm gonna be on both portions of the map can't wait to explore countryside but i voted for the city strictly cause i plan on racing those long straight roads of Los Santos near the beaches and admire the scenery cool.gif

Countryside, partly because GTAIV was nothing but city.

Bombing down some hills, ripping through the desert, tumbling down a mountain...

Bring it.

When you mention the 'countryside' I picture the woods, forests, lakes and the wildlife, not the towns. Imo, countryside over city.

I am SO tired of the city; IV.

Countryside. Definately. Have you played SA? The contryside was awesome!

Countryside was boring. And it will be as well in GTA V. Only City matters.

Have you played RDR? That was some of the best countryside I've ever seen for Rockstar. The countryside will no doubt be just as good if not better then the city.

Both are equally as important to me. I have no doubt the countryside will be more interesting than SA's which quite frankly is about as fun as watching paint dry, but I'm still looking forward to seeing how detailed LS is.

Null vote.

The city. That's the heart of the game, and the constant throughout each game. When the country side was introduced in San An, I of course loved it, but it's not as important as the city. There's more life in the city, and there's more action.

Signatures are dumb anyway.

I voted city. Tough call, but I decided the city has so much more detail than the country side that every nook and cranny will differ from the one before it. I'm pumped to see how much work R* has put into both city and countryside, but the city obviously demanded more work. But I'll definately be cruising around in both.

Countryside.

In an odd way, I chose countryside because it helps me appreciate the city more. SA, RDR and most likely V all have so much replay value due to the simple variety in environments.

If I get bored of the city, I can explore the countryside. The return to the city/town from the countryside is an awesome feeling and never gets old.

Plus, you naturally spend less time in the city and thus take much longer to become bored of it.

It was good for its time, but after RDR adding so much life it's not he same. I was playing SA the other day out in the country and everything felt dead and boring apart from the towns.

Basically without any sort of wildlife SA's countryside isn't that interesting to me.

IV was enought city for me. Lets see some countryside.

Althought I like Los Santos city much more than Liberty City. So in this game it will be pretty close.

I hate Liberty City in the game and New York City IRL.

After IV and it's episodes I had enough of a city. So countryside it is for me this time smile.gif

But I am also looking forward to explore the city and the places between city and country.
