Do you like Three Protagonists?

When I first heard about the idea, I hated it.

but then when I learned the possibility of switching

characters in missions, thus completely changing the

mission objectives, I really liked the idea. I am really

looking forward to this feature in GTA V & specially

looking forward to play the mission 'The Extraction'

which in the FIB Building plays a big role.

i wish they had 4 protagonists. and you could play like a 4 player co op for the entire story. each person doing their own thing until the heists happen. multiplayer or just local. thatd be tough

Same as the OP, back when it was just a rumor I hated the idea of multiple protagonists because I assumed it meant either A) being forced to switch to a different protag every few missions or B) multiple "mini" story/campaigns on the scale of TLAD and TBOGT instead of one full sized story.

 

But after Rockstar finally explained how they were doing it, I liked it. It isn't three separate protagonists. It's three protagonists who form a crew, a team, a unit. It isn't three stories, it's one story about three guys. I think it's going to rule big time.

Yes, I like it. I think it's a great idea and can't wait to play as all 3 protags. I love the idea that the 2 "inactive" protags will live their lives and get into trouble while you play as the other one.

so when i heard there will be 3 protagonists i didnt like the idea, and tbh i still dont like tht idea, and this is because i was used to play with 1 protagonist, in nearly ever game, i will not be using the protagonist wheel too often, because rockstar got me used to play with 1 protag, i am sure that i will treat one character more than the other, but that might change when i get the game,

 

 

my overall opinion on the the 3 protagonists is that i think that i will not like it sooo much, it is still a good feature but i will not be getting involved into changing the protagonist probably

You just inadvertanly said why it's a good idea. Now we have multiple protragonists there's more choice. I've always believed one motivation behind this was bitchibg about past protagonists.

 

It seems R* took what the fanbase generally wanted and put it in one game. Michael is for the Tommy fans (like me) who prefer the perspective from an older guy. Franklin for those that want someone younger and athletic and Trevor for those that just want someone who's bat sh*t crazy and the best part? We can use whoever we like in free roam.

 

No more bitching about it feeling wrong going on rampages with Niko. I think it's a much needed change to be honest.

yeah i hated it at first too OP, maybe because its a MAJOR change on gta... but now the more i think of it the more i like it.

 

Im sure Rockstar will pull this one off and its gonna be EPIC

the first time i heard about 3 protagonists, it really bothered me... but after knowing how well R* games has implemented it, and after knowing each charakter better in all trailer released till now, i think its just awesome...

 

my favorite is Michael and as second comes Trevor... not sure about Franklin yet, it seems that we know less things about him, and he did not really convinced me until now, and it seems he isn't authentic as the other two characters... but I really cant judge now... need to know more about Franklin.

 

but just think about: how different it feels to play with each charakter...

 

wannt to do some crazy sh*t??? or creating a third world war??? take Trevor!

 

want to take a bike up to mount yosiah?? skydiving, or other sports activity??? take Franklin!

 

want to relax, cruise around and having some fun in casinos??? so Michael will be the right guy!!

 

You see, for every activity you have the perfect character... will be fun as hell!!
