Their map still looks better than mine, but I thought it was funny that it was so similair to mine. And map is too small too. That's not why I expected How did this video change your expectations regarding the city size? It's the same image, just recolored. On this map, they pointed out all the key things that we've seen in the trailers and on the screens. Therefore, this map shows in easy, accessible way, how close all those things to each other, how Rockstar showed almost everything that this city has, and how this city is really small You realize most of it is guesswork and is taken right from this forum right? Above Posted May 30, 2013 Share Posted May 30, 2013 Yeah, far from complete. Dam is missing.. and where is the mount chilliad located? Yeah, there is plenty of stuff missing. The dam is to the right, near the wind farm and prison. It doesn't make a difference, the screenshots released so far cleary show that it overlooks the city right at its edge. There aren't enough screenshots of the countryside yet. They've basically guessed the whole top part of the map. So definitely not trust this map to be accurate in scale. Looks like they've taken it, reshaped it, looked at other peoples maps for roads and then just shoved them where ever. I mean, great job. And now it's not just the city but the whole map that's small. as is said most media outlets indicated that the city is 1/3 of the map and not 1/6 or 1/8. When I heard about CVG doing an extensive mapping I was excited. But then I found out I did most of the map work. I no longer excite. I suspected this. The real map could still be larger than this "fan map". And could be filled with more roads/small towns in the north. 'Cause those are my two main complaints about the map: looks kinda small and kinda empty in the north I hope the real map will be a lot different! Btw, great work xrCore!
