AceHigh11 Posted May 30, 2013 Share Posted May 30, 2013 How is that 1/6 of the map. My immediate thoughts. That map is small, too small. And now it's not just the city but the whole map that's small. Well first of all it's obviously only a depiction. But if in one breath they say the city is 1/6 the map and then another they show the city to be almost 1/3 the map it just goes to show how you can't take things journalists say literally. If the map is this size I would say its smaller than even I had hoped. Obviously there is no scale, but it doesn't look close to SA + RDR + IV Whatever. I just wanna play this game. Not directed at you but I think too many people are clinging to this false idea that the map is the size of Asia. I don't expect it to be much bigger than this. Look at UK and Ireland on a real world map, the space between the two is a little finger apart but you try and swim across it. It's still the largest map in the series. 5 RDR maps, 2 of which are underwater. That leaves 3 RDR maps, which I assume is by far the biggest landmass in a R* game. Does anyone have the correct square mileage of those 3 games?
