Thing is though is that Call of Duty has ALWAYS had multiple protagonists, and it's been out for TEN YEARS.

Call of Duty's good, just nowhere near AS good as GTA. There, I said it. Suck it.

I think when he said multiple protagonists he meant playing the multiple characters simultaneously, which hasn't been done many times before. Most games and movies have had multiple protagonists so I don't think he meant what you guys are thinking.

This sounds awesome! So I would think if nothing else, R* will always have multiple protagonists in their open world games from now on? I need to hear it from them, but I'm thinking it's probably something they've discussed before.

 

It would be weird going back to one protagonist if multiple is considered a "better" way to tell the story. The more I think about it, GTA V will be more like every great show that switches perspectives all the time. I can't wait!
