With multiplatform releases so far, the 360 version was never the lesser one when it came to performance. If it's multiple discs on 360, you'll probably only need to swap discs later on in the story. Rockstar know what they're doing and they'll nail it as always despite people's fears about what will and won't be in the game, size of the map etc. Only worry is the stress it will put on the consoles, and if they can handle it. They've all got there own Side Storys so you're getting a lot out of the Game, not to mention they all have there own inter-weened story. Franklins trying to get out of the Game and is in a Gang Struggle. "Nothing original.." Trevors got beef with the Lost.. and well.. Michael is having a Mid-life Crisis. Either way, we should know that Rockstar can always hit the nail on the head with there Storytelling. But, with them coming along brings the concern of them being horrible AI, getting in the way of our Aim, Dying, Being terrible are shooting.. This would take away the feeling of that Character being special. I trust R* though and like I said I think they managed well with the Friendly AI in RDR. + That part about the Solo Missions? All the other sources all seem to have seen the PS3 version. 2-There are many tourists who roam in the mountainous areas near the river, while there is another group you are playing catch. -The game suffers from minor problems on some platforms because of its limited capacity while there are many cars on the streets. blakeney Posted May 31, 2013 Share Posted May 31, 2013 For me, being totally realistic and honest, my fears are: Framerate, although i don't fear it will be any worse then IV (on ps3), it will be a slight let down initially if i start the game and its low (like my first 10mins in IV), but once you get into the game and see how amazing the world is, frame rate becomes minor (if its slight like IV), it just wont have initial maximum wow factor if its stuttering. My PS3 dieing, before the xbox tards jump in... its because i have an old 60gb model, and LA Noir killed my last one, so I'am half expecting V to kill this one (in a sense, I'm kinda hoping it does, will be a good benchmark for defending V "It killed my ps3 it's so good!) DLC going EA on us and/or loads of "cheap" dlc like car livery's, hair styles etc etc.. It wont be the DLC that annoys me, or even that I'm fearful of... just the sign of R*'s hidden "bold new direction" (if they do that, they do have one ). Other then that... I'm pissing my pants waiting for V, to the point I'm realising that in my life i have only ever waited like this for my daughter.... SA and now V lol!!! I agree that cars in IV felt a bit 'loose' but to give it completely unrealistic race game physics would ruin the game about 90% for me. It is after all Grand Theft Auto. I feel like the handling in IV took a while to get used to but after a couple missions I feel like I mastered it. Coming from a guy who's a real big car enthusiast and racing fan, I think that the updated handling in TBOGT was perfect. It fixed the boat like handling in IV while still keeping it realistic. Imo TBOGT has the most realistic handling of any game I played (except for GT5 obviously). Ill be okay if they made he handling something like GT5 and Forza but updated for lower speed handling. Apxidia Posted June 1, 2013 Share Posted June 1, 2013 I have two fears: 1) the car handling has been changed too much from the way GTA IV felt 2) The special abilities will make the game less fun either by: a) in single player having missions that will be so hard that using these abilities will be almost required, and/or may literally be required b) having the special abilities will be in multiplayer.
