The demo did not show them what lies north of the map. Also they said when franklin was falling they were turning the camera around but hid a part of the map. They said it was either because it wasn't finished yet (bullsh*t. The map is one of the first things done) or that they weren't ready to show what was in that direction. Rockstar are hiding parts of the map for whatever reason and CVG or any one else who got a preview have NOT seen the entire map. Yep from the CVG video i think i remember them saying they had a 180 degree view with the alamo sea to the east, a military base to the west and LS south. Im still holding a bit of hope R* are hiding a snow capped mountain region in the northern most point of the map much like Tall trees in RDR. That was confusing. There were like two in different sections if I'm correct, I only ever found the one where we killed Bill or whatever his name was when I did the mission, I looked for it after and could never find it! When I saw that article it took me three seconds to understand they were making it up, they made it visible to dummies for christ sake. I don't see how they can make a "map" out of it, I also don't really want to see it, the last thing we need are people making maps and killing our hype, they'll probably make it suck anyway and kill the anticipation and when V comes out we will all be ashamed of even looking at it. I don't know, I've got exams tomorrow and I'm so exhausted I can't study, I'm bitter oh god help me. You just need to relax, find a big pair of female boobs and do the motorboat.. it makes life so much better yo. brmmmmmmm Will they let me bribe the examiners with this wonderful pair of tits? They are not unveiling the REAL map, they are starting THEIR OWN project to make a new FANMADE MAP based on what they saw in the demo, work previously done on maps and obviously all the released assets. Will be cool to see the other bits that the media got to see though. It won't be the full map ofc. I'll be watching . What the? Did you miss the part where I said 'they have seen parts of the map that we haven't.' so who on this forum saw the demo? Nobody. So cvg's map will be more accurate ok. I dont see how it would be spoiling anything... really? First time you got GTA IV, the first time you saw the whole map (if you hadn't already seen it in your game manual fold-out) I remember thinking.. Cool! Now lets explore. They announced they're going to start making their own fan map. Should be interesting to see what they come up with. Although the fact that they're asking people to send them links to maps makes me think what we have already on-going over here in the GTA Forums community is already pretty good .
