This should be huge because cvg has seen parts of the map that we haven't seen. Edit - It's not 'THE' actual map, it's a map put together by those at CVG of what they have seen which is more than what we have seen so their map reveal will be the CLOSEST MATCH to the actual thing. Presumably, it will be the most accurate one yet because they got a great glimpse of the entire map in the base-jumping portion of the preview. Even if they did get a very brief glimpse of the map, they are only human and they can't have remembered it all. d3ex2 Posted May 30, 2013 Share Posted May 30, 2013 I seriously doubt they've seen the entire map. 1) the first section was with franklin in the air so yeah they'd have seen a lot from the air but not enough to make a full proper map. 2) second part was at the beach and out in the ocean...again not able to see all the map. 3) third was in the city/hills. 4) they said Rockstar deliberately hide a section from them. The demo did not show them what lies north of the map. Also they said when franklin was falling they were turning the camera around but hid a part of the map. They said it was either because it wasn't finished yet (bullsh*t. The map is one of the first things done) or that they weren't ready to show what was in that direction. I guess its all personal preference.. Seeing more of the map (this wont be the whole map) appeals to some of us.. Its not gameplay, You are not immersed in it and taking part.. just imagining what you will do in those places. For others I guess they can just ignore it. When I saw that article it took me three seconds to understand they were making it up, they made it visible to dummies for christ sake. I don't see how they can make a "map" out of it, I also don't really want to see it, the last thing we need are people making maps and killing our hype, they'll probably make it suck anyway and kill the anticipation and when V comes out we will all be ashamed of even looking at it. Yep from the CVG video i think i remember them saying they had a 180 degree view with the alamo sea to the east, a military base to the west and LS south. Im still holding a bit of hope R* are hiding a snow capped mountain region in the northern most point of the map much like Tall trees in RDR.
