reform Posted May 30, 2013 Share Posted May 30, 2013 How does anyone here know for FACT that the additional stuff given at release is already on-disc? How do we know it isn't a small DLC download? Why is there so much hate against people paying more to get DLC? Why should those who paid less than others be pissed that they don't get some cool perks that they didn't pay for? Because the game won't have gone gold yet, so there's nothing stopping them from doing so. For year GTA has been simple now it's like their sticking a middlen finger up at us. It looks like if we want the FULL game we're going to have to pay alot more $$$ to get it. No, I think what's been shown as dlc is all there is. I mean, could you imagine if Buying Properties was dlc? I mean 6 months ago, we were all certain it wasn't going to be part of the game at all. So it's very unfair to blame Rockstar or even be surprised by this since they've done it for every single one of their games after IV. And 2008 was a very different time for games, I mean half the gamers didn't even know what DLC meant at that time. So it was pretty naive not to see this coming. And after all as much as I don't like this trend, the content Rockstar made exclusive are insignificant stuff compared to everything else we're getting in the game. No one is honestly going to miss just three vehicles out of hundreds that we're already getting. Rockstar is one of the best gaming companies in the world, and they put so much time and effort into developing their games-moreso than, I would venture to say, 90% of companies these days. You sound like a greedy little kid; typical for today's youth. I said it right after GTA4 came out, that I would still pay double the price or more for a base GTA game for what you get. I'll be buying the SE and I have no problem with missing out on the content you get with the CE. People who buy the CE can have a bit extra imo since they're paying a lot more then I will.
