Missions like from Max Payne 1

Lelouch The Zero

Hey guys, I've been playing the original Max Payne lately and I loved how the levels and missions were designed. It got me thinking that there should be missions similar to the original Max Payne in GTA V. Now I haven't played Max Payne 3 yet, but I have played the 1st and 2nd one, so I think R* could make some of the missions similar in GTA V. I really loved the hotel mission in Max Payne, It would be cool if they made a mission like that one in the game. Or like a subway mission that leads to a bank vault for a heist, that would be pretty cool. Or maybe Michael could have a few dream sequences about his past life that we have to play through, similar to Max Payne. Yes I realize the dreams wouldn't really fit GTA V, but it would be pretty cool nonetheless. I also hear Michael's Bullet Time will be like Max Payne's, so I don't think that any of this would be hard to pull off, R* can do it I know it. Anyone like this idea?

Dude, you have GOT to play Max Payne 3. One of the best stories in a game I've played so far. icon14.gif

Max Payne was a great game but it was basically a corridor shooter. A very good corridor shooter... but a corridor shooter nonetheless. I'm not sure what you're getting at here...

15 dollars for the Xbox

30 for PS3

Hell, there's 2 copies left of the Special Edition for the PS3 that's less than a normal 60 dollar game. 54.25. I'd be getting that sh*t if I had the money. But I got a normal copy anyway, got it for my Birthday last year which was like a couple of days after it came out.

Why is it higher on PS3? That's weird, lol. Yeah I'll be buying it soon anyways, but I just thought it would be cool if they made some of the missions dark and gritty just like the first Max Payne, it had very good missions, never gets old. And I'm sure GTA V will be just as good as Max Payne, hell tons better.

I'll be happy if they make the opening scene of GTA V as good as the intro in Max Payne 1. Seriously MP1 has one of the most underrated opening scenes ever. It starts right at the end before flashing right back to the beginning. It's chilling and it lets you know that sh*t is gonna get crazy toward the end without giving any spoilers away.

Max's first line in the game:

"They were all dead. The final gunshot was an exclamation mark on everything that had led to this point. I released my finger from the trigger... and then it was over."

Yeah I get what you mean. It would be awesome if V had some dark and gritty moments like that. I heard Max Payne 3 isn't as dark as the first 2, so I thought It would be cool to feature some of that from the first 2 games of Max Payne in GTA V. I know it could be done.

@gtafreak10 it just pisses me off that whenever I have an idea people look at my topic and probably think: "Oh it's him, stupid topic, not even gonna reply" and if they do it's always insults.

Yeah, nobody really acknowledges mine either. I posted a thread like 10 minutes ago about Heat Seeking Missiles and it's already buried by other threads. tounge.gif

I don't think there was a nightmare sequence in Max Payne 3. Which is odd considering that seems to be the one part that sticks in people's minds about the earlier games.

Grand Theft Savage

You haven't played MP3 yet? Get the Complete Edition, whenever that comes out. You'll sh*t yourself when you see those missions.

I want epic sh*t like that in GTA V.

This just reminded me of nightmare scenes from Max Payne.. damn, that would actually work in GTA in a mission. The best candidate would probably be Michael, either trough a dream or a story told to his therapist, about a dream that he had biggrin.gif.. no really, would like this. Thank's for reminding me.

Oh and bank heist trough subway is a MUST.
