Bigging up the multiplayer

I dont think we will be able to buy all kinds of properties in GTA Online, but I hope we can atleast buy Crew hideouts, since R* has been quite big on crews, I see it is only fitting that we get to have a hideout for our crews and be able to customize it, get cars for the crew and customize it with the crew colors and same with the clothing items for character customization.

I really hope there are heists and robberies in V Online like Gang hideout shootouts in RDR. Freeroam would be pretty awesome if we can rob places, gang wars with other crews for trespassing, car racing and other mini games (Like board/card games, golf, etc.) which can be played with other people online.

Imagine 2 crews robbing a same place fighting each other at the same time, while fighting off cops.

Im hoping for something like that. Lets see.

biggrin.gif Well I played GTA IV multiplayer last night and that still blows me away. I just love it. So I just hope it's like before but with lots of additions and improvements

It would make more sense and be less complicated if there was one central place like an apartment building where players in the lobby could go to to load their own apartment room.

That's probably how it will happen. Like the outfitter in Red Dead except it is the single player gameworld where you are the fourth character. All the things that are open to the three protags will be open to your online character - tattoos, modding cars, ammunation, properties etc - except everything open to your fourth (online) character will have to be earned in MP matches. Win races to ge better cars, win deathmatches to get better weapons.

You can then tool up, get your car, and head back into MP free mode or other online modes.

You see you can't have a property in a multiplayer space with your cars in a garage, because it would just lead to griefing and people blowing your sh*t up, so they will keep your sh*t behind a pause screen that only you have access to. You are then in your own private Los Santos and surrounding countryside, and you can also switch to Trevor, Michael or Franklin and carry on single player instantly if you so wish, or you can go back through the pause screen into the online world.

That would be revolutionary.

So on quite a few occasions, Rockstar employees have been telling us how amazing and revolutionary the online multiplayer will be. The Benz himself said that he believes GTA V will revolutionise open world multiplayer the same way GTA III revolutionised open world singleplayer.

But what could make it so good that it would blow us away? What'd do it for me is GTA MMO style. You earn money in certain ways, doing heists with you crew, racing, killing etc. With what you earn you can buy properties, vehicles, weapons etc. basically building your fourth character up online along with everyone else.

What would do it for you?

GTA SP >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> GTA MP

If you don't believe that then you're not a TRUE FAN.

Redx, could you please SHUT THE hell up?

If someone takes multiplayer over singleplayer, that doesn't mean they are any other lesser fan than you.

You most be the most annoying guy on the forum.

Perhaps, all players start off with the same apartment. CE players will also have advanced access to one garage with two cars. With money you earn, most of it from online heists with your online crews, you can buy new houses, cars, garages. The list would probably include Marinas, heliports and airstrips (maybe even your own hangar at LSX).

You can build up your skills, driving, shooting etc. and you can enter street races, deathmatches, turf wars and so on to rank your skills up. Other stuff you can buy are customisation items such as clothes, tattoos and also car mods and weapon upgrades.

Each property you buy is another spawn point you have as well as them being a place to store your stuff.
