123robot Posted May 30, 2013 Share Posted May 30, 2013 Hmm, it's difficult to remember but it's either GTA 1, Vice City or San Andreas. A strange combination, I know, but I remember finding them all and playing them (and enjoying them) at around the same time. One of my friends had GTA 1, another had Vice City and at some point I was given San Andreas as a gift. It was some time in 2006 when I first found the series so realistically it could have been any of those. I'm thinking it might have been GTA 1 first, but honestly I'm not sure. I have the most fondest memories of San Andreas, definitely played that the most, but I'm pretty sure GTA 1 came first. Probably the least straightforward answer anyone's given. He showed me where the tanks were in each level and told me the aim was just to destroy everything until you had, "red," money. Target13 Posted May 31, 2013 Share Posted May 31, 2013 When I was 4 I loved to take my Mettle Cast cars & pretend I was a regular civilian in an City. My dad introduced to me a computer & games. But I couldn't find a good game that fulfilled my desire. My dad asked his friend for a Freeroam game with a lot of cars. His friend lend him GTA III. Not knowing of its mature Content. He let me play it. somehow I knew that killing was wrong & only did it in GTA. the violence did not change me. However I did use to say thing to the cops who crashed my car (Stupid poop!) my mom said not to say that. Later when I turned 5 I got Vice City & enjoyed missions. My dad really wanted me to continue the series since he knew I loved it. I got San Andreas in 2006. my parents banned me from it because of its bad language. however my dad said that such language is all over the media these days & I know its wrong so I can play it again. I also got LCS & VCS later. I got IV for my birthday & got EFLC last year. Now I am 13 & have a lot of knowledge in the GTA Series thanks to my great parents. I am waiting for GTA V for PC but maybe I will get it for the Xbox. so.............................My first GTA was GTA III, I played GTA 1 & 2 Very less. I stayed at a mate's house one weekend and he swiped it from his brother. Being used to FPSs on PC like Duke Nukem and Redneck Rampage harnessing the ability to create similiar chaos in an open world environment was a big deal. Me and my brother bought the PSone and another great game by Rockstar Games, The Italian Job We were both told that GTA 2 was an amazing game so we got it and ever since then the GTA series has been our favourite game series. Then in 2004, I went to this place that was like an internet café a few times. They had Vice City and I played it a few times. Didn't become a big time GTA junkie until 2007, though.
