Both games have very different styles but HL2 put the whole gaming industry through a phase of shock and awe when it came out. HL3 would likely do the same thing. And HL3 IS happening. MuXu96 Posted May 29, 2013 Share Posted May 29, 2013 I say GTA V, I played HL1 and it was epic, but I must say HL2 didn't get me that much, GTA SA was more what I wanted, that's why GTA V wins. I think HL3 won't happen cause the pressure is much to high, everyone expects the best game ever created, but that's not possible, or just not happening. I hate it when many call CoD the king of FPS games. Well, on the MP side that may be the case (as far as popularity goes) but to me Half Life is still the king. The world and everything is so great about those games. If they just made headshots a bit more deadlier and the recoil something more reminiscent of Counter Strike then the basic shooting mechanics would be pretty much perfect too. Got a bit off topic there, but I really can't answer cause we know NOTHING about HL3. We may have seen some leaked artwork but that's it.
