The grand total of £25 which I paid to Tesco months ago for the game.

WHAT when?! HOW

I posted this in another topic which asked where and how much you paid for the pre order:

I just pre ordered from Tesco - never pre ordered a game in my puff before but read on:

The £10 discount for new accounts applies only to your first online purchase from them if you spend a minimum of £40 and as GTA V has been recently amended on their site from £40 to £39.99 I had to do a bit of searching to find a minimal priced item to add to my basket to qualify - a £1 iphone cover done the trick with no postage costs as it qualified for free collection at my local store.

So GTA V for £29.99 what a deal - but there's more!

Taking Tesco Clubcard points into consideration (you get one point for every £1 you spend which equals a penny a point) you qualify by buying GTA V for a 30p discount on future purchases.

But there's even more!

Tesco will reward you with a further 500 points for buying GTA V from them so you save a further total of £5.30 on a future purchase!

Still with me because you've guessed it - there's even more!

Tesco have a deal call Tesco Rewards which doubles your points on purchases in certain departments - they vary throughout the year so those points = £10.60 so the cost of GTA V to you is only £19.39!!!

PS

i know Tesco are satan incarnate but in this case f**k that - I'm fae Scotland and the mair bawbies i can keep in ma sporran the better

Also to add I discovered they do reward offers which quadruple the points to spend in selected restaurants etc so theoretically it really only cost me £9.39 - a result if I say so myself tounge.gif

So technically, you're gaining clubcard points by buying GTA V which will in turn save money on future Tesco purchases such as a steak, some Mr Kippling angel cake and a tin of baked beans? I DON'T COUNT THAT AS GETTING THE GAME FOR THAT PRICE!

I'm pretty sure my mam has some vouchers worth a few quid lying around somewhere - if you can use them online that is? I'm definitely going to have to order from Tesco! However, I'd soundly bet they'd deliver late.

Yeah if you order from Tesco its best to go to a store on the day, IT should be ok though because like America, Tesco has a habit of invading places so you should have no trouble finding a store near you.

When the day comes when your mam tells you it's time to leave home you'll understand the meaning of money, shopping around for the best offers and see what a great deal that it is.

I'll probably convert the points into a £20 voucher to use at Pizza Express to line my stomach before I neck a bucket or three of free beer at the GTA V launch party in Edinburgh, lining my pockets full of promo stuff along the way to flog on Ebay to people who live with their mum biggrin.gif

It's still a good idea to resize it though, before they check it. And also, good memories from this movie. Will we see this car on GTA5?... wink.gif

Up to £60($90). This will include £40($60) for the normal game and up to £20($30) for the R* pass assuming they have one and it's worth my cash. That will include all DLC.

I would say no more than $75. I am going to get the standard version of the game. For snacks I am planning on going old school and getting a bag of Flammin Hot Cheetos and 2 liters of Mountain Dew Code Red.

So do you constantly wipe/wash your hands to keep your controller from turning orange/red (rorange?)? Or, do you just pour them into your mouth like a neanderthal? I've seen people eat Cheetos with chopsticks to overcome this problem, but something about that seems pretentious.

On-topic: $59.99 (plus shipping). I eat grown-up people food.

Which is different from food that is made from grown-up people.

I'm tired.

Probably $149.99-$199.99 in the long run. Preordering the SE for ps3 will net $80 + around $50 worth of stuff to build my man cave for the game. Finally, I'll also buy the PC version when it comes out, so probably $150+

I had been sharing my roommate's PS3 until I moved out. So, in late December I bought my own PS3 ($150 with a game, movie, and 2 controllers) specifically to be ready for GTA V's Spring release.

Oh yeah, I've got about 3 Tesco's near me, ones fecking huge down on Roundhay Road! I'm no stranger to their endless isles of useless bargains, with the escape route being through the sh*te clothes section!

Oi oi, why wouldn't I live with my Mum? I'm a broke 18 year old with no ambition or direction in life, it's great!

Don't rate Pizza Express, overpriced and average dozingoff.gif
