GTA V's main menu

So, all other GTAs didn't have a main menu (At least on consoles). Do you want a main menu in V, and if so what would be your vision of it?

Personally -- I'd love a main menu that'd play ambient music while showing several scenic places in the game, like people on the beach sitting down and watching a sunset, the mountains, a waterfall, etc. It'd create the same feeling as the intro of Bioshock Infinite had (Which if you haven't seen is here: http://youtu.be/wevrz3e1bkE?t=2m55s )

I'd like a main menu where I could choose the save that I want before starting. It's not a must, but I think it would be usefull.

I want a main menu, as long as we have an mp menu. In IV it was so f*cking annoying you got set back to SP if you lost connection in MP.

I would not mind a google earth style view of los santos. high enough to see the region as a whole. Then once you start it will zoom in to that particular starting point etc

Keep it simple, minimalistic and condensed (meaning: streamlined, with as few sub-screens as possible)

 

If possible, with the map available just like in GTA IV.

Also, we NEED the ability to choose what save to load every time. It was SO annoying always loading the last save then having to wait so long to load a different type of save (GTA IV, TLAD, or TBoGT)

When I first started playing GTA (at III). One thing that I always liked was that it puts you straight into the game. It was different than any other game at the time.

 

I'd prefer no menu.

 

If there has to be a menu - then either the four characters in a circle. Or like others have said, an aerial view of the map.

I agree and anticipate this, or at least I'd much prefer it.

 

Although I felt like there was a lot of loading screens/time in RDR to actually get into the game, especially for multiplayer.

I'd much rather have a main menu than a minute of the same 3 concept art images being cycled through.

Red Dead's and Max Payne 3's were done just right. Nothing super complex, but still effective.

If anything I hope they remove the 'six-axis tutorial'.... I've teleported many times to the airport when I wanted to cheat instead of using the tutorial -.-
