From what everyone has seen of Los Santos so far, the city itself looks pretty small. The map with everything surrounding it, sure, will make the entire map look pretty huge, but the city itself looks like Los Santos from San Andreas. That means with high powered cars, you could get from one end of the city to the other quite fast. Does that mean Rockstar will make cars drive slower, to make it take longer to get from one spot to the other, and in turn make the map seem bigger?

 

I think it's a possibility.

2004 los santos is a lot smaller, you can tell just by looking at the screenshots, anyone that thinks otherwise must be blind.

I think they will be just like IV. Maybe a few faster cars or something, like special race cars. Nothing more.

I think it's a possibility.

The map is already the biggest map in the history of R*. Why make the cars go slower than previous versions?

If anything they should make them faster. (Which I prefer, in IV the cars where terribly slow looksmadatrockstar.jpg)

I think it's a possibility.

Los Santos isn't small, unless you consider LC to be small. Also, the map will seem bigger due to the complexity of the streets.

IDK if you're using metaphors or not but, I can't see why there's a reason to slow down cars to make the city seem bigger.

So if you have a view at these 2 pics you see the LS 2004 looked much bigger than it has really been. Compare it to 2013 LS and it could be the same. 2004 does definitely not look like it is that small like it really is.

What I was really trying to stress is that everything has been scaled up from 2004. Look at the Vinewood sign. It is a bit of a joke to say that LS from V looks similar in size to LS in SA. Everything is small in SA LS.

SA Los Santos is tiny in comparison, a lot of people on these forums have shown that Los Santos in V is of a very similar size to the whole of Liberty City in IV, when you take away the water.

They plan the maps so that it's just about impossible to blast from one side to the other. RDR's map seemed about ten times the size it actually was.

Los Santos in GTA: San Andreas is about the size of the ghetto areas of Los Santos of GTA V.
