Miro
Where do you have the game from? Are you using any kind of mods or cracks? Do you play with the original DVD in your Drive? You should try to install these: the Episodes from Liberty City Patch 1.1.2.0, the Games for Windows Live Update & the .NET Framework 3.5. Have you also tried to un-install and re-install the game? CCPD
Can you photograph the cover and the disc's face of your game and send us the links? Also, post as much information about your system specifications as possible. And lastly, don't triple post.

CCPD
You need to uninstall the game, delete the install folder manually, install both updates: Games for Windows Live Update Patch 7 Also, it would be a good idea to check if your video drivers are up to date, here. radioman
First off, where did you get the game from? As those do not look like legal(legit) discs, as the word "disc" is spelt "ANCK" on your discs, which is not a word...and on the rating, it says "Mature 17+ M" NOT "18+" like yours...So, those do not look like legit discs? Just curious? Thanks for clearing that up CCPD Edited May 30, 2013 by radioman
CCPD
They are Russian and they ARE legit. The word isn't "ANCK", it's ДИСК which means DISC in Russian. That's why I originally asked him to upload those photos to see if hes got a fake or not. Since the whole world doesn't speak English, many popular games officially translated and sold by publishers of each country. In this case the biggest Russian publisher 1C. CCPD
Very often this problem is caused by GFWL (Games For Windows Live). Try solutions below and tell us if any of them helped. Also, every time you uninstalling something ALWAYS check if you have any folders left from uninstalled programs in your Program Files folders. If you do, ALWAYS delete them too. Delete ALL XLiveLess dlls if you had them before and try to run the game again without them. To start you need to remove any programs that use, conflict or depend on the GFWL system or services so un-install: * the Microsoft Games for Windows - LIVE redistributable and Marketplace. * the Bing bar. * Windows Live Essentials (including Windows Live Messenger). * Microsoft Silverlight. * the Windows Live ID sign-in assistant (this may be missing from the add/remove programs list). * any Microsoft .NET frameworks. Then restart your computer. Next we need to re-install everything in order. 1st - Install Microsoft .NET framework depending on your version of windows. Windows 7 - .NET 4.0: LINK Windows 7 should only need 4.0 and this should install client profile. Windows XP or Vista - .NET 3.5: LINK After it installs you should also install - .NET 4.0 Client Profile: LINK After it installs, run Windows Update to update your computer with any important updates. Then restart your computer and run windows update again. 2nd - Install the Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant: LINK 3rd - Install Microsoft Silverlight: LINK 4th - Install the Games for Windows Marketplace: LINK After this installs, try to sign into the Marketplace client and see if it gives you an error. If you are able to sign into the game then we can reinstall everything like the Windows Live Essentials: LINK
