Racecarlock
OK, I was just watching the second trailer to gta 5 and in the beginning Micheal says "If you want my advice, give this sh*t up" We all know the decisions you make in the game will affect the players at the end, so is Micheal saying if they give you a chance to give up the criminal lifestyle, you need to give it up and not be greedy? Could Franklin possibly go back to jail for life? Die from gang warfare? or become rich? Will Trevor die get life in jail? Overdose? Get killed by the Lost? Or be the kingpin of the countryside? Will Micheal stay rich? Turn snitch? Or die? Your opinion I sure as hell hope not. I'm tired of crime games trying to teach me some bullsh*t moral message. I know crime is bad. I have known crime is bad for all my life. I play these games to do all of the naughty things that I can't do in real life because I'll be killed or jailed. I want to win because I know it's not real. I know it's not what really happens. Just like I know NFS doesn't accurately represent actual police chases because actual police can and will find your safehouse. But this isn't reality, and it isn't a children's cartoon that's supposed to teach morals either. It is what it is and what it is is a movie fantasy sandbox crime game that lets you loose on a variety of vehicles, hands you a bunch of crazy weapons, and then says "Go nuts! If you die, you lose a tiny bit of money and possibly your weapons. If you get busted you also lose your money and weapons. Past that, no consequences.". And then we do go nuts and it's fun. I don't want to learn a lesson. I just want to blow things up and ride into the sunset on a gold painted private jet. Can't I have that for once? Any game that drops all effort for decent storytelling is a recipe for disaster.

I just don't want the ending to preach to me like a god damn minister about how "Crime is bad, m'kay?".

Well, I can't see that happening, after all Michael is getting back into it despite his 'Give this sh*t up' comments, implying that crime is fun if nothing else.
