It's collectors for a reason, only those who truly love the game to pay £120 for it deserve that content, even with a GOTY edition don't put that stuff in, just add new stuff. I hope you consider this. Their response - Currently, the only way to guarantee access to the digital content from the Collector’s Edition or Special Edition of the game is to pre-order or purchase those specific versions. We hope you’re looking forward to getting your hands on the game on September 17th. I mean they'll make good milking people out of cash by making it seem exclusive, then they'll make even more releasing it later on. Why does it scare you? When buying these editions you are paying for the swag. Your also paying for the DLC that everyone who wants it will be doing once the DLC is up to download for everyone. The difference been you get it day one and won't have to wait a few months like those who don't. If you are buying these editions thinking the DLC is for these editions only and that's all they ever will be I think your in for a reality check. Red Dead Redemption, L.A Noire and Max Payne 3 have already done what GTA V is doing. Not sure why you would think or believe that GTA V will be any different. Read the first post further.. he said that some fans deserve exclusivity (forever) because they pay more than the rest. Yeah, quite selfish I would say.. at least the physical items (map, cap, bag, etc) are always exclusive and can't be obtained in other ways. Except for buying them for cheap of course. But digital contents always should be available for everyone. The only difference is the when it will be available. Yet from a business prospective this is pointless. These editions are not avaible all the time and the same apply to the pre orders. This is not some EA scheme where you have to pay £5 each time you want to unlock something more from the game, this is R* giving people who pay extra some extra content. I don't think the OP says that some people don't deserve it, but it is more worrying that the collectors edition is not so special after all.
