PoliceFarm
I often like to play games on PC using a cinematic aspect ratio, not only to have a larger horizontal viewing angle, but also because it gives certain games an extra cinematic feel. Seeing the trailers for GTA 5 in a wider aspect ratio made me think it would be cool if there was an option in the console version to have the camera pulled out a bit so we could get the movie like look for the cutscenes, and make the action in the gameplay have a bit more of a film like edge. GTA games on PC just squash the images at the moment so it's not proper widescreen, but to see results similar to those in the trailer would be a cool way to play the game on the consoles, what do you guys think, have you tried this sort of thing with games before? minwager
Dragon's Dogma had permanent widescreen bars, but I think those were in the game to aid performance. They kind of annoyed me a bit. Edited May 29, 2013 by minwager
