Nerf guns are awesome. Created a many a fun hour for me at work (When i am actually meant to be working)

Found one upstairs once along with a plastic bow and arrow, apparently the had them for the customers to play with during the Olympics, then when the Olympics ended they was "hidden" upstairs. I found them though.

 

Used to target practice with empty cans of coke, manager wasn't best please when he caught me and my mate. And even though we're English and live in England, he told me I'm meant to be an adult at work, and this isn't kindergarten. Strange guy.

 

Anyway here is me getting my stealth on. Although not that stealthily as someone took a photo

I have the Nerf sawed-off shotgun, the six shooter, and a single shot that's small enough to fit in the pocket. It used to be unsafe to walk around our barracks without one. It's pretty much the ultimate toy gun in that you actually shoot stuff but the round is so soft and slow it's totally harmless, so no one is going to get all buttflustered if you shoot them in the face with it. I have fond memories of many mafia-esque assassinations on people who thought they were safe in their room, Skyping with their grandma.

Seriously what is Nerf actually? Is it like Airsoft as well? 

It's kind of like a little kids version of airsoft. The guns shoot a foam dart type thing. Usually with a suction cup at the end. It's not marketed as a sporting thing like airsoft is but as just a regular child's toy. But there are people who use it for casual sporting.

I think I remember that I have this similar gun as well, however I discarded it since childhood. Can't find where it is now. But I currently own an M4 airsoft gun, with huge number of pellets.
