This job listing would not be GTA V related. Rockstar have plenty of other assets they may wish to bring to mobile. GTA V is not coming to mobile platforms anytime soon because the mobile platforms are nowhere close to the performance of a PS3 or Xbox 360 at this stage.

 

In 3-10 years I'm sure that Android and iOS devices will develop to the point that it could, as these platforms are growing very rapidlly. They will someday compete with PS3/360 performance, and I'm sure that Rockstar will capitalise on that, but much too early for this job listing.

 

GTA V is just the broad heading on their Facebook page.

You do realise that GTA III and VC were released because it was 10 Years since they were first released. They run PERFECTLY well on phones and tablets, and saying SAndreas isn't possible is just completely retarded.

 

End of next summer GTA: SA will hit iOS and Android.

When'd they say that? From what I remember they only said a San Andreas Stories was never going to be made.

The game closest to doing anything like this is WD. Your smartphone will allow you to hack into others' SP games (real time), controlling various electronics in the city in order to help/defeat their Aiden Pearce.

 

I doubt that any PS3 games will be available on phones for quite some time.

I already did.

 

They are 10 year anniversary releases. San Andreas is simply a bigger map. It is the same game as III and VC.

DOk just because its the 10 yr anniversary of san andreas, that still doesnt prove that it will be on mobile. Dont get me wrong, it would be cool if it did, but I just dont see it happening

Actually it probably is related to GTA V. Rockstar Mods have said multiple times in articles that they are considering a Social Club App.

Please, don't even mention GTA 5 on mobile platforms until the following three things have happened:

 

1. GTA V has come out for PC.

 

2. Mobile Devices become 10x more powerful than they currently are.

 

3. 10 years has passed.
