Even if it is $5 extra, why should we have to pay more for content that was removed? Even if it is 'DLC' later on, why should we have to buy something we already bought? It makes no sense. Yes, I've pre-ordered, but this was back in January of 2012, when there was no 'special edition' thing. It seems some people dont understand, if you pre-order a $60 game with $5 down, you only have $55 left to pay (plus tax ). You are not gonna end up paying $65 dollars for the game when you pre-order, what ever money you put down on the game goes towards the final price of the game. Besides all of this, I can say with 100% confidence that you dont have to pre-order to get access to the blimp. The blimp will be included in all New copies of the game as it will come packed in the case, not printed on the receipt when you pick it up. This gives people incentive to buy it new rather than used. While the announcement says it is for "all pre-orders" it does not say it is exclusive to pre-orders only. The reason I know the code for the blimp is packed in the case is because it was part of an email sent to Gamestop. If you have a look at the Gamestop website, in the black 'Bonus!' section, it says "Online Customers: Item will packed with your game. Store Customers: Item will be packed with your game.". The first day the CE was announced it said "Online customers: Code will be printed on your receipt. Store Customers: Code will be printed on your receipt." I just want to know what's the point of pre ordering when you can go to the store on the release day and pay 60 bucks and get the game? Well as it stands, the damn blimp is the point if you can't think of anything else.... EDIT: Also if you do some critical thinking, sure it's no problem getting the game without a pre-order 99.99999% of the time, but if EVERYONE used that logic, there would be a huge problem.... The reason it's not a problem is because all the people who did pre-order were accounted for and extra was shipped for people like you.... This doesn't mean you have to cough up the full price. You might as well keep the rest of the money and make little bits of interest off of it in your savings account. Then a month prior or even release day just fork over the rest. If you plan on getting the game you are spending the money regardless. At Gamestop there is usually a separate line allowing you to bypass people that don't have it preordered. If it's paid in full, flash your receipt and get on your way. It makes the transaction quick and painless and you'll be home in no time jamming your game. I really don't understand the thought process here. You want a blimp? It doesn't cost anything to pre-order. You still pay the same price as everyone else, just later and in one lump sum. By pre-ordering we can put $10 on it here and there throughout the year... much better way to pay it off. Plus we are guaranteed a copy and not at risk missing out. In the UK, there is no deposit when you pre-order online, they just charge the amount to your card when they dispatch it (there are small deposits for the special and collectors editions though) however, this means I'll have to make sure the full amount is in my bank when this happens. If you pre-order and pay the £5, it's almost like getting £5 off your game because by the time September comes, you could have saved that amount or forgot about it, and you'll only have to make sure you have the £35 (or equivalent where ever you are in the world) ready to hand over. If you don't have the money right now, they wait until closer to release; the blimp is coming with all pre-orders so it doesn't matter even if you wait until 16th September. There are only positives to pre-ordering, IMO, in that you get the bonus of the blimp (even though it will probably be available to all eventually) and your copy is definitely yours before you've even got your hands on it. I am going to pay the same amount of money as the guy who pre orders, because he pays upfront he gets the blimp that Rockstar showed from the first piece of screenshots.
