S1LV3R_W0LF
I just noticed some "funny clown" used one of the pictures I used in my 10 evidence thread pointing to a PC version in the works. Funny how he didn't use the other more reliable facts in it. And after that you've been getting tons of others, like big retailers making pre-orders available, retailers well know for their REAL leaks and without forgetting the retailer everyone said was lying about the PC uncut version that he confirmed when asked alongside the SE version that everyone called BS and that wasn't something Rockstar would do and ended up being true. This is not hard, just use your brain and put all the pieces together and you'll get the full picture bright as day, but of course some people are still trying to figure out how to use it and think by themselves and follow the stupidity trains. YoungChrist
What surprices me is that you honestly think Rockstar would tell a handful of retailers that there will be a pc version and tell others the exact opposite, When did i say i thought that? when you said this "I just wonder why the hell does so many people get surpriced that GTAV will come for PC when they see some webstore that have GTAV for PC Isn't it kinda obvious that it will release for PC?" Bantri
I still would like to know what suprice means I'm surprised you didn't give us the definition. Apparently it's not in the dictionary Hehe. Wow, really? Go to sweden, or any non english speaking countrey and see how good english they speak! I mean, c'mon, one fu*king letter? What is a countrey? Haha sorry, I couldn't resist. I'm just messing with you! No harm intended!
Myrskalle
I just wonder why the hell does so many people get surpriced that GTAV will come for PC when they see some webstore that have GTAV for PC Isn't it kinda obvious that it will release for PC? Sorry for stupid ? but im just curious! It´s not about being surprised, it´s about people trying to find "confirmation". It´s definitely gonna be released for PC, but it would still be nice with an official confirmation.

meson1
Retailers are just chancing their arms by listing placeholders for the PC edition of GTA:V. They don't know anything. Like many of us, they are just making an educated guess that there will be a PC version. That's all that's happening here. There is no conspiracy. BlackNoise
When R* decided not to release RDR for PC. People can give whatever reasoning they want, but it doesn't matter. It was an open world game very similar to GTA and many PC gamers wanted/still want it. I definitely still want it. All it means is nothing is certain anymore. DS 17
Red Dead never did so people are always going to be hesitant in believing things like website listings until it's confirmed. You can't compare apples with pears. RDR and GTA are completely different. A conversion of RDR to PC would not have earned the expected money, so they passed it up. GTA is their most powerful franchise, so there will be a PC conversion anyway. Just have a look at their financial report of the years when a GTA released for PC and you will see the answer. d3ex2
Nobody knows officially what is happening regarding PC. The past shows us that this is somewhat normal as Rockstar tend to release PC versions later than consoles. That is most definitely what is happening right now. I don't understand why they don't just say this though. Why can't they just say "we plan on releasing a PC version soon after console versions". It would stop PC gamers freaking out. Also it doesn't help that they say they are CONSIDERING a PC version or that if it isn't worth their time then they won't make it. I'm saying all this as a console owner. It sucks for PC gamers. I'd be so f*cking annoyed if tables were turned and PC version came out then console versions. I understand why they are pissed off and anxious. I wouldn't worry though. I think Rockstar would be stupid to not release a PC version. Just relax, it will come out.
SNIT01
Most of the PC gamers are too busy drowning in self-pity to know that every sign points to a PC version. GTAV will not be the outlier in the PC version trend - it'll just come a little later. I think the majority (myself included) aren't to worried, and indeed understand that a PC version will come out later. Don't group everyone in with a very few. S1LV3R_W0LF
I said this once but since everyone tend to ignore the serious talk and rather talk about whatever they want, specially to avoid believing there will be a better version then their outdated one, I'll say it again. GTA4 was a total mess and huge let down from Rockstar in the PC platform, Rockstar was just starting to use RAGE, and it was San Diego who made RDR, which adds the fact that they stopped creating content to PC since Midnight Club 2. I guess Rockstar didn't bother by converting it not only because it would be that profitable but also because they have conscience that they didn't had the knowledge yet to do so, as risking another shot in their foot wasn't good, so they decided to enhance their knowledge and try different things, and that happened with Max Payne 3. In other words creating the game to one console and then port it to other and other platforms wouldn't work well, reason why GTA V have no lead platform which points to the fact that XB360 and PS3 have their own version and PC might have too, and if they thought ahead making so would allow them to later port it to the new generation coming shortly. Reason for the urgent call on Next Gen coders in the beginning of 2013. But I've learned something in the forums the past months, it seems that a big part of console players get electrified every-time someone mention the PC version or even worst a proper version for the new generation of consoles, because they can't stick in their head that their time is up, the world doesn't turn around their toys anymore. ___________- As for the retailers, for sure they know a lot more then they can say, I gave lots of examples of leaks from retailers but I'm gonna tell you the latest one. Some weeks ago a retailer leaked the pre-order for Mirros Edge on Xbox One, it was denied that such title existed or was being planned, few days ago in LinkedIn some developers leaked Bad Company 3 and also Mirrors Edge 2 which was also said to be a "mistake", today EA placed an Image of Mirrors Edge 2 in their web page that is exactly like the ones leaked before. So there you go all the "liers" were telling the truth... once again. Also not so many weeks ago you had a German retailer that leaked the allegedly S.E. version of the game along the PC uncut version, last week you had the confirmation that the S.E. version leaked by that retailer and called FAKE, is the real deal, which means the Uncut PC version is already an acquired fact. He could have mentioned just the PC version, but he gave the details of it and even confirmed it when someone contacted him. The only question know is when... soon as this Christmas as launch title for Next Gen to raise sales or around Spring of Next Year? That only Rockstar knows. Already explained myself in finer detail in my previous posts. I've taken all the facts into consideration. In most cases the more platforms the more profit, but not for RDR. Many things came into play concerning RDR's lack of port to pc from a technical and financial perspective, but it still happened, so I'm going to wait for confirmation in regard to V. It has been talked into the ground as of now so I'm going to leave it there. Edited May 31, 2013 by AKalashnikov
