But are these specifications enough to play games with high-end graphics and framerate? 1. Nvidia GeForce GT640 3GB. 2. 8GB Ram (will upgrade to 16 actually if possible) 3. Unfortunately the GPU is a low-end card, I'm afraid you won't be able to play the newer games with high-end graphics at an acceptable framerate. Other than that, it's pretty good. Well I saw a 3GB GT640 and automatically assumed otherwise... Anyways, make sure to get something in the $200 range if you're willing to max out any game's graphics options. SilverRST Posted May 29, 2013 Share Posted May 29, 2013 Yeah, Nvidia means just Nvidia when translated to Romanian and same goes to AMD I got some help too from yoyo2 when I gave him a Dutch retailer website. You can get a much better rig and even much better than the GT640. Prices of the high-end like GTX670-680 will drop as when the GTX780's are released and tommorow or the day after tommorow the GTX770 will be released. I am on the same boat as you It's been many years ago since I really enjoyed playing games but it was not that really nice because I had to lower graphical options.
