CryptReaperDorian Posted May 28, 2013 Share Posted May 28, 2013 I think R* should stick mostly with Free Mode, co-op missions (like the three from GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption's "Outlaws to the End" DLC), and racing modes. Really, aside from possibly Cops 'n Crooks (which also throws racing elements into the mix), they haven't made a shooting-based competitive game mode of considerably good quality yet. This. Free mode been key. In IV is had nothing to do but in Red Dead Redemption it improved a lot. I can only assume R* will use that from Red Dead and build on it even more with V and this has me excited. I spent most the time in Red Dead playing solo in free mode online but having the possibility of having other players intervene in your game makes it great. Revolution-XW Posted May 28, 2013 Share Posted May 28, 2013 I want to see many Fun Game Modes for the MP; - Busted (One crook vs all other players in cars, crook has to escape) - Demo Derby (players choose a car and has to survive). Works in different part of maps; Stadium, Top of Mt. Chilliad, Top of a tall flat building, desert) - Triathlons (Different ones; Jetski, bicycle, jumping to a specific hot spot, etc..) And some other fun modes they came up with. I hope for a RP-like Free Roam where we can do activities and get money to buy things. Like RDR with there possee stuff. I also loved the GTA IV co op, but it was so easy when you had the right people. I know that a lot of people don't like it, but I think there are equally as many people who do. Imagine a server which had 5 - 10 different RP options. For example: 1. Police/Emergency Services Server 2. Taxi Service 3. Airplane Service 4. Train Service 5. Truck Driving 6. Farming (Yeah I know some of that sounds lame but you get the idea) I also think sports is going to play a major multiplayer role: 1. Golf 2. Hockey (Strong hints towards LS Kings) 3. Take the multiplayer from IV + Crews + planes, bikes, and subs + city and mountains All I need is Free Mode. I would like to earn xp in free roam. and would like to do missions with my friends in free roam. I would also like to disable player markers on the hud/map. Sniper win if everyone dies before the times up, and get more xp. The last survivor wins if survives and will be the next sniper. Of course the players try to kill each other. "Testify" As a member of the NOOSE team you must get Gerald De Palma (some name i made up) safely from his home in X to the courthouse in Central Los Santos. As a member of the Families/Ballas/Lost/Aztecas you must stop De Palma from snitching. Whichever player from the Families/Ballas/Lost/Aztecas kills De Palma or gets the most kills on the NOOSE team protecting him becomes the VIP in the next round. Nemesis2252 Posted May 28, 2013 Share Posted May 28, 2013 a form of cat and mouse racing - multiple teams with a ''mouse'' who actually race around the course (being an actual race track or through the streets like IV racing) with 2-3+ ''cats'' who try to crash the other teams ''mice'' while defending their own. also maybe figure 8 racing. not much to be said here, pretty straight forward figure 8 racing with a bunch of full speed crashes in the middle!
