rjmthe2nd
Grand Theft Auto : San Fierro and then after that GTA : Las Venturas then, GTA VI(????)? Seems like it what do you think? do you think Rockstar will be doing this? i really do think so because look at GTA 3,Then we got Vice City and San Andreas. i Can see after GTA V We will get San Fierro and Las Venturas it'll also give Rockstar the time to focus ONLY on those cities because in SA San Fierro was very small, and So was Las Venturas (ik it the map itself was big,but as a solo city it would be too small, same for VICE CITY) San Fierro can have Michael pop up in a few missions and Las Venturas can have Trevor in there too, hell, the stories could be set before The events in V and show what went down a year or two before V happen. then GTA VI(CE CITY) Can be in South Beach again... Nope, I think the next one is GTA VI. And if I had to bet, I would put my money on Vice City. I don't know why but I don't think Las Venturas or San Fierro are interesting enough on their own. Acetaminophen
I could see Las Venturas being its own GTA game but SF not really. I would rather have LV as a full game. But id rather it be DLC. YES DLC it would just be LV and a little bit of desert we could have a cool casino heist. But ya its not gonna happen.

LittleBlueTroll
Las Venturas would be for sure. Imagine having a separate game there but carrying on from V, doing casino heists Oceans Twelve style, would be amazing. They don't call it sin city for nothing... GTA : Sin City would be a good name, and i think that if they go to VC again (and obviously the best place to go) they should call it GTA : South Beach (same neon pink font though) would look badass and be bigger then Vice City. GANGSTA26-VERCETTI
dude if the pc version takes time, you think they will go though which this idea of yours? THe most they will do is port that sh*t for ps4. Idk man.
wwinterj
This topic has a obvious answer. Yes GTA VI will be on next gen consoles. As for the location? I'd like somewhere completely new but can see it been Vice City.

Do you not realise that Vice City, San Andreas and the Stories were part of the III era? Anything that's not a new era is classified as DLC in my opinion. It's a lot easier to make a 3D world then a HD world.

They made the stories for LC but nothing after, meaning that they don't make new cities for any of the "title eras" anymore.

Sounded like you thought that every game with the number in the title set a new era. So what ou're trying to say is that they won't make a new game about a new city and put some sort of subtitle in the title, right? Anyway back to the point of the OP, I don't think R* would feel obligated to return to both these cities after V. That's not how they do things. They just do what they want and assume people like their games, it's working so far. The next city could be SF, LV, VC or even a new one. How should we know, I don't think Dan Houser knows for sure. Aly Zaroon
"It is always a possibility. There are a few references to the city in our current-gen GTAs so it is part of that HD universe, and it is certainly somewhere we would love to revisit. However Vice City, perhaps more than any other GTA game, was as much about the era as the setting. Miami in the 1980's is so iconic it would feel strange to revisit the city in a different time period. Of course at some point we would like to have one big world containing all our cities and let the player fly between them and revisit their favorite areas, and in that context reimagining Vice City would be very interesting". - Aaron Garbut Edited May 27, 2013 by Aiden Pierce

DeafMetal
Red Dead Redemption 2 is next.... Red Dead 3. OP: I hope it's Vice City AND a new version of whatever their Washington DC city is. Since it's fictional, they can f*ck geography (they already do with sea-locked maps). That'd be hilarious and ripe for satire.

Durden
I think R* are finished with spin-off games. Believe it or not, lots of casuals out there don't buy games based on the name. Some casual AC fans may have seen Brotherhood and Revelations and thought, "wtf is this sh*t, where's the next game". The same applies for GTA VC, SA, LCS & VCS. IIRC, this was actually one of the reasons as to why R* decided to add the numeral 'V' to this game, because it signifies a significant leap of the franchise. And since R* spend so much time making GTA sequels nowadays, every GTA is a huge leap for the franchise, which should mean that every GTA after GTAV should be given a title that illustrates this leap - a corresponding numeral. I don't believe another spin-off GTA will ever be created. Even the Vita versions will probaly have the numeral, but with a following title. Like Killzone: Mercenary or AC3: Liberation. I thought they used SA and VC to replace the original GTA1 and 2 since VC is technically the first game in the PS2 timeline and SA is the second game in the timeline. The Notorious MOB
I don't think Las Venturas is big or interesting enough to warrent its own game.. especially on Next Gen consoles. We may see San Fierro in the future. I've mentioned this before but I can see the San Fierro Bay Area being the setting of GTA VI. It would be very interesting to see a DLC or Vita game showing the gangs exploits in Las Venturas either before or after V. EDIT: Just to clarify I don't mean the whole Bay Area since I think that would be too massive and boring. I just mean some of the cities like San Francisco and Oakland etc. I don't think theres a collective name for these cities though.
