Any predictions on The Wanted Level?

This is one thing that I am looking forward to in GTA V. I know that there is going to going to be five stars. What do you think each star level would represent? Like do you think NOOSE will make a return or will it be replaced by the Military? And we know the FIB is inside the game will they come after you too? From the screenshots it seems more difficult to evade the police. I am really looking forward to my first rampage and killing innocents.

I think

1 star= Cops try to arrest you chase you if your blatantly breaking the law.

2 stars= Aggressive pursuit by local Law Enforcement(LSPD, Sheriffs, Highway patrol assuming they are in due to the CHP motor bike looking units)

3 stars= Swat Units Chasing you (possibly tire strips if they are brought back) Helicopter pursuit.

4 stars= FIB with local law enforcement and swat. Helicopter if not two.

5 stars= Military units assisting if flying they will bring out the jets, Helicopters ect. Also going to assume ground armored units.

1-Cops will try to make an arrest. Chase you by foot and try to beat you down.

2-cops will use guns if you pull out a weapon. Will try to make an arrest

3-Swat team and helicopter after you. Shoot to kill

4-FIB,Swat team,K9 unit and helicopter are all after you. Shoot to kill

5-Military comes after you. Tanks,Advanced Weapons,Jets and Helicopters are all after you along with the FIB.

Here's my take on the wanted system.

1 Star - Minor threat, chase and arrest.

2 Star - Significant threat, call for backup and shoot on sight.

3 Star - Highly dangerous, use of police dogs and rifles/shotguns is allowed.

4 Star - Public menace, call in the FIB, police helicopters and snipers.

5 Star - Domestic terrorist, call in military forces, lots of them, and evacuate the streets.

Yeah I'm pretty excited to see what sort of changes they've made to the wanted system. I would like crimes to have to be either witnessed by a police officer or if they have a witness system where someone reports the crime to police. I was sick and tired of IV cops who just magically knew every step we took.

With this witness thing, it could be similar to when Niko could call the cops in IV, where he just basically said street he was on and they sent a cop straight away. The witness could add the severity of the crime and maybe a description of whatever protag we're using. Like 'A white guy in his 40's just shot some old lady at Vespucci beach'. If this is reported to the police, I don't think it's unreasonable to receive a 2* wanted level straight away. Some/most will disagree, but it's just MO. This wouldn't be that difficult to do and would add realism and make committing crimes a bit more challenging. Obviously we could 'silence' the witness before they had a chance to report, however that could add more witnesses. When evading cops, changing vehicles will help to get rid of wanted level faster. Only works for 1 or 2* levels.

Anyways, I hope it's something like this. Note that this is my opinion only. Also depending on the crime, stars 1,2 and 3 can be attained straight away.

1* - Low level pursuit for petty crimes (fist fighting, mugging, vehicle jacking, crashing into a police car... basically anything short of using a weapon on someone). If on foot, maybe a couple of cops chasing you and 1 squad car in the area. Cops try to tackle you or use nightsticks for the arrest. No firearms. If in vehicle, 2 pursuit cars max. However the longer the pursuit the more cars and more aggressive they become in trying to stop you. Still, no firearms though. Wanted level will disappear if you evade line of sight for a certain amount of time. If caught, can resist arrest but it will raise level up to 2*. If another crime is committed whilst on a 1* it will raise to 2*.

2* - Moderate level pursuit for moderate crimes (fighting with melee weapons, firing a weapon (excluding RPG/grenade launchers, robbing a store, robbing a house, small scale arson, hit and run, entering any restricted areas (military bases etc), and this one is debatable but I would say killing a civilian (obviously a serious crime but we all do it in GTA so much, it'll be terrible if we received anything more than 2*). On foot, multiple cops chasing you with handguns drawn, they only fire if fired upon... This gives the protag the option to try and escape without raising level or blasting their way out of trouble. As soon as you fire at the cops, it's 3*. K9 squads. If in vehicle, 2-4 squad cars, maybe a few road blocks. Can still evade line of sight and it will drop to 1*, but obviously harder to do so. Can resist arrest but risky as will be shot at immediately. Commit more crimes, raise to 3*

3* - High level pursuit for serious crimes (firing on a police officer, multiple civilian kills (rampage style) the use of explosives, robbing a bank or other large organisations, large scale arson. On foot, shoot to kill. Still have the 2* level of police chasing you and trying to contain you, handguns and shotguns. Police heli tracks you. Swat teams arrive in armoured vans, wearing body armour, police issue sub machine guns, smoke grenades, tear gas. In vehicle, 4-6 squad cars, cops try to shoot out tyres, very aggressive, swat team roadblocks. Very hard to evade line of sight, but possible. No option of being arrested, If caught you will be killed. Will gain 4* If you hold out long enough and kill a certain amount of swat/police. Also if you shoot down the police heli, I would say that raises you up to 4*.

4* - Can only attained if 3* doesn't stop you, or you kill a number of swat/police whilst in 3*, or you shoot down police heli. FIB introduced into the fray. They have multiple different vehicles, with many agents in each vehicle. Body armour, multiple weapons (handguns, shotguns, sub machine guns, a few assault rifles), sniper teams, multiple heli's that fire at you from above. No option of evading, you're already in WAY TOO DEEP! All streets are cleared of civilians. The only way to survive is kill or be killed. If you do manage to survive you'll earn 5*.

5* - Can only be attained if 4* doesn't stop you. Military arrive... full on! Police and FIB still pursue. Army troops armed with M16 rifles and grenades arrive in jeeps and truck. Some vehicles have attached mounted machine guns. If the protag is still not stopped after a while the military introduce tanks, apache heli's, jets (only if you are in an aircraft as well). 5* is like adding 1,2,3 and 4* together and THEN adding the army on top. No evading, no hope... unless you're Trevor!
