They won't release another version for at least a couple of years (after all the dlc). I'm not gonna argue at this naive thought, though - It'd be more useful arguing against a selfish 7-year-old as to who his toy building blocks belong to. Twisting your illogical, baseless hypothesis into something more along the lines of the truth, GTAV will be 100% complete, and the SE will be 108% complete, while the CE will be 110% complete What's the point buying another version GTA5? Won't that be another rip off when GTA fans bought their standard GTA5 version? And they will say for example: "BS! That second edition of GTA5 INCLUDES FREE BONUS! CRAP I GOT THE ONE WITH THE SEPARATE DLC I HAVE TO BUY TO COMPLETE THE WHOLE GAME." "Third edition of GTA5 WITH FREE DLC PACKS? WTF IS GOING ON! I got ripped off from Rockstar buying the INCOMPLETE VERSION of GTA5!" The point of buying another version of GTAV (AKA an upgraded edition) is for the sake of bonus content. Some people are hardcore fans of GTA that love the franchise very much and are so hyped for GTAV. As a result, these people can spend some extra cash to upgrade their copy of GTAV to go from 100% awesomeness to 110% awesomeness. And then, there are false GTA fans like you. You guys feel so entitled and are selfish. R* cannot add bonus incentives to GTAV without you people raging because you think you're deserving of it. If you were a true hardcore fan of GTAV, you'd have no problem dishing out a few extra dollars for some extra features. And don't you dare try and use money as an excuse - when people want things, they make a budget. You wanna know how much money I got from Christmas & my Birthday combined this year? $50. From one person. Yet I'm still buying the CE without hesitation. Anyone feeling ripped off from the lack of this bonus content is not only self-entitled and delusional, but doesn't deserve to visit this network of hardcore GTA fans. GTAV - Standard = One Complete Game GTAV - Special = One Complete Game + A few extra items GTAV - Collectors = One Complete Game + A few extra items + a few more extra items GTAV - Complete would = One Complete Game + The DLCs Created in the Coming Years whereas OP seems to see it as the opposite.. GTAV - Complete = One Complete Game GTAV - Collectors = One Complete Game - DLCs that should have come with the game GTAV - Special = One Complete Game - DLCs - a few extra items GTAV - Standard = One Complete Game - DLCs - a few extra items - a few more extra items All games have release dates. At some point they have to come out. As such developers have to create schedules, they have to budget what they time and money to get in. Some of the ideas that didn't make the time/money budget will show up in sequels. Yeah, they could put all of that into a sequel...but sequels to games with environments as expansive and detailed as in this series take years to come out (increasingly so as technology advances). So a few of those ideas they had to leave on the cutting room floor see their way into the game as DLC. Sometimes new ideas that could be implemented fairly quickly end up in the game too. It's pretty clear to me that TLaD, TBoGT, and Undead Nightmare were not Cut Content. Horse Armor and any DLC from any game made by Capcom on the other hand... That's such a bad comparison, IW lost the majority of it's staff during MW2's peak, that's why they couldn't finish MW3 on their own and had to have Sledgehammer Games help them. I'm sure MW2's glitches would've been fixed had they had the staff to do it. The thing is that these DLC are not released after as a bonus, this DLC is stuff already made and instead of put it into the game they prefer to sell it to you separately.
