GTA V is no different from any other game Rockstar has released. On the 17th September we will get a Standard, Special and Collector's Edition. The Special/Collector's edition contains exclusive physical items and SMALL timed DLC. The DLC doesn't contain anything that isn't already in the game...they are simply small additions. 1) faster special ability regen 2) some extra clothes/tattoos 3) ADDITIONAL stunt plane trials 4) THREE extra weapons 5) 2 extra cars, 1 extra bike 6) classic GTA characters for multiplayer. You don't NEED these things. They are just small extras. There will be plenty of cars/weapons/clothes/tattoos, special ability will regen slower, there will be stunt plane trials in the STANDARD edition. In 2014 there will be more DLC for GTA V. What will it be? Nobody knows but it will ADD to the game. It won't contain anything cut from the Standard Edition released on the 17th September 2013. Rockstar doesn't make DLC like that. If I understand you correctly you think they will release V, some DLC with stuff that you think should be in vanilla V and then release a complete edition. Did you complain when they released IV then Lost and Damned then Ballad of Gay Tony then the Complete edition? Those DLC had new vehicles and weapons...they could have been in IV. I don't see what the bit deal is. GTA V on it's own wi be amazing. DLC will add to it and make you want to play it even more. What's wrong with that? I think OP is trying to say that Rockstar will eventually release a complete version of GTA V with all of the DLC incorporated. Ignore the percentages, or even the fact that he said it isn't a complete game. GTA V standard is a 100% complete game filled with everything it needs to work to it's highest efficiency. DLC and pre order bonuses are an extra that I could put into the game if I want. They are like adding salt and pepper to a meal already done and it only serves to make the final product taste better. Episodes are an extra dish with a whole new flavor that I would enjoy if I liked the original product. They don't add to the original and stand alone product but serve as a mini version of it as a new flavor and if you so wish to buy it, then you get to enjoy it. Complete edition comes out quite a time latter as a refreshed product of the basic game. If you don't have money spent on the DLC or early bonus content yet or you don't have internet. Then you can buy this if you wish to have all the added goodies bundled into the meal. You don't have to buy it if you already got the old version with the DLC and bonuses but here it is if you want it all on one disc, which I do want and will buy all versions out of respect for Rockstar and my happiness for their product and would greatly enjoy collecting all of it. I think I'm starting to understand you Don't worry they will support it with patches if necessary. They won't release another version for at least a couple of years (after all the dlc). There was no fixed version of GTA IV either remember, and with the existence of internet there is no need for one now. Is this the answer you are looking for? That's such a bad comparison, IW lost the majority of it's staff during MW2's peak, that's why they couldn't finish MW3 on their own and had to have Sledgehammer Games help them. The DLC doesn't contain anything that isn't already in the game...they are simply small additions. 1) faster special ability regen 2) some extra clothes/tattoos 3) ADDITIONAL stunt plane trials 4) THREE extra weapons 5) 2 extra cars, 1 extra bike 6) classic GTA characters for multiplayer. You don't NEED these things. They are just small extras. There will be plenty of cars/weapons/clothes/tattoos, special ability will regen slower, there will be stunt plane trials in the STANDARD edition. In 2014 there will be more DLC for GTA V. What will it be? Nobody knows but it will ADD to the game. It won't contain anything cut from the Standard Edition released on the 17th September 2013. Rockstar doesn't make DLC like that. Once all the DLC is out they will release a COMPLETE edition with all DLC just like they did with IV and Redemption. LOL! All those time was JUST EXAMPLES. NOT FACTS! That's such a bad comparison, IW lost the majority of it's staff during MW2's peak, that's why they couldn't finish MW3 on their own and had to have Sledgehammer Games help them. I'm sure MW2's glitches would've been fixed had they had the staff to do it. That's what happen to Call of Duty fans when their Online crap got NO FIX. AND RANTS years ago. I'm not gonna argue at this naive thought, though - It'd be more useful arguing against a selfish 7-year-old as to whom his toy building blocks belong to. They won't release another version for at least a couple of years (after all the dlc). There was no fixed version of GTA IV either remember, and with the existence of internet there is no need for one now. Is this the answer you are looking for? Won't that be another rip off when GTA fans bought their standard GTA5 version? And they will say for example: "BS! That second edition of GTA5 INCLUDES FREE BONUS! CRAP I GOT THE ONE WITH THE SEPARATE DLC I HAVE TO BUY TO COMPLETE THE WHOLE GAME." "Third edition of GTA5 WITH FREE DLC PACKS? WTF IS GOING ON! The game will be complete. Just because companies like EA have invented a cash grab DLC system doesn't mean that every game will end up like that. GTA V will be complete in every way, just relax! GTA V standard is a 100% complete game filled with everything it needs to work to it's highest efficiency. DLC and pre order bonuses are an extra that I could put into the game if I want. They are like adding salt and pepper to a meal already done and it only serves to make the final product taste better. Episodes are an extra dish with a whole new flavor that I would enjoy if I liked the original product. They don't add to the original and stand alone product but serve as a mini version of it as a new flavor and if you so wish to buy it, then you get to enjoy it. Complete edition comes out quite a time latter as a refreshed product of the basic game. If you don't have money spent on the DLC or early bonus content yet or you don't have internet. Then you can buy this if you wish to have all the added goodies bundled into the meal. You don't have to buy it if you already got the old version with the DLC and bonuses but here it is if you want it all on one disc, which I do want and will buy all versions out of respect for Rockstar and my happiness for their product and would greatly enjoy collecting all of it.
