I had them for all 3 ps2 games in the III era but I didn't bother for IV. Generally really good guides though, but the internet has come a long way, there isn't as much of a need for physical game guides/walkthroughs anymore. I have to say I was a little disappointed with the IV guide simply because it didn't have a list of all the vehicles in the game like the SA guide... seVensantos Posted May 27, 2013 Author Share Posted May 27, 2013 i find myself watching the walkthrus as well but those boring late nights when you wanna search 4 hidden packages - the book comes in handy. yea they are pretty much a collectors item at this point but since im not paying the $150 4 all the other bells & whistles ill pay 4 the book & feel just as good. Yeah you're probably one of the few that's going to dish out money for one of those books. I haven't paid for a brady games book since GTA: III and Vice City. I think I purchased the San Andreas book but it got torn up over the years. Either way personally I don't find a book much help. The only thing I'll look up is cheats and I'll write 'em down. Or like others have said collectors items. Better than fan-made walkthroughs! They are R* approved, and some of the people who made the game, had some input in these guides too... Yes, I also use the web for walkthroughs or background info on ways to beat tough missions, rather than the book. However, I like having the book to take along and look at sometimes when I am not able to play the game, just to get to the happy place of remembering playing GTA.
