Nameless Foot Soldier
Have any of you considered now that they are bringing back level stats for SP that our MP character will have a complete and personal skill set of your choosing. No one character will ever be the same. I myself am going to make a Biker Character that has full bike skills and hopefully Rockstar allows us to put our Crew emblem on our clothes like in Max Payne 3. I would have a Biker Jacket with my own personal crew cut on the back. I'm slightly excited just for typing this.
SheHePaedo
Animal?? I wanna be a mountain lion in Freemode We know you can kinda be a monkey so far --- I can't wait to modify the 'classic' GTA characters in multiplayer with the Collectors Edition, I hope it gives you like their body and face and you can choose their outfits. Tommy Vercetti, Claude & CJ I'm hoping for (wishful thinking maybe)... But only Niko has been confirmed so far. Either way, I think the MP customisation overall is gonna be great and we'll be able to show off our personalities the way we want to. Saying that I hope they keep animals in MP and all the features of single player this time, that would probably mean still only 16 players max per game. Still PC will probably have 64...... GlitzyTomb
I'm gonna be a monkey and drive a cab around. I'll use old timey gangster talk. It's gonna be swell.
BeardedxMic
In GTA IV's MP, you obtained money in the way of XP, that ultimately, you could do nothing with. It's my idea that this time around, that money be used to unlock the things that you want. New clothes, cars, weapons, etc. Of course you'd still be rewarded a new item every time you leveled, but there would also be a list of things you couldn't get without actually buying them. For instance, You can unlock the Beretta handgun by leveling up, but if you want the silencer for it, you have to pay. I also think the money you make will be used to customize your car. It'll be just like real life, where the more you "work" the more you obtain. Plus it'll give those of us who are on a lot more of an edge against those who aren't. I know it's a challenging idea, but it's no more than any other multi-player game out there. I just hope they don't see GTA bucks. I can't afford to be broke. AZAZEL
Wait. I might have missed it. But are you sure we can use the MP character in single player? Or only freeroam? Yup sounds like it. GTA V Online Previews pretty much confirmed it. Source: http://www.gtav.net/news/4521/gtav-online-...and-screenshots I assumed that switching to your MP character from SP, would bring you into Multiplayer, as a replacement for the phone menu in IV. creed200569
The ONLY way that they can revolutionize MP in a way like they did single player in GTA 3 is we have to be able to do everything we can in MP that we can do in single player, which means access to all stores and mini games otherwise thats not revolutionizing anything, sorry but thats a fact. The biggest thing that pissed me off about MP in GTA 4 was not being able to do all those things with my friends online.
KemKel
I don't care too much about multiplayer It would be nice in the future you can use a customizable character in the single player storyline I think that's the way the series is gravitating towards. Oh sh*t, I agree! That would be the sh*t!
VillNess
I can't wait for the multiplayer... And before any stupid responses, I will play and most likely enjoy the story and sp too... I wish we can make our characters as unique as possible (I don't mind if they don't include sliders, but they would make our characters way more unique!) and as someone mentioned, I hope we can change body type of our characters too. A lot of clothes to choose and can mix and match them (there could be outfits too, but I prefer each type seperately) and good variety. I wanna dress up like swat, cop, ninja, Sam Fisher, like the woman in starting loading screen of TBoGT etc. I also hope they keep supporting the multiplayer by perhaps releasing new customisation stuff, vehicles etc etc. I also hope they don't split the multiplayer like they did in GTA IV... Or if they release new episodes which will have new multiplayer, atleast make it easier to get into those and don't make me go through so many loading screens... I think we're gonna see it like it was in RDR, where the switch to MP was rather easy. It involved a loading screen, but that's life in these fast times, eh? Dick Justice
I'm definitely going to roleplay as a prostitute who's sick of being beaten up, mugged and killed by every single player, so she goes all Black Dynamite on everyone.
The_Majestic
A full customisable online player is a must. hopefully money you make in single player can be used to buy stuff for your online player. Great idea! That would be smart since they're putting a heavy emphasis on money in V. 1. Do money cheat 2. Switch to multiplayer 3. Profit!! I guarantee we won't have a money cheat in GTA V. This is how it works. You won't be able to use characters online in the single player game.
