Your sentence, as I've not started the beta yet so I have no idea what Ikora Rey is and why it's leading you in a circle. Made me laugh that's it's leading you in a circle though.

Well I shall be able to enjoy the first day of the beta in about 9 hours. Basically that's tommorow now. Nice one bungie for early code release.

finally managed to redeem my code and start downloading.

 

i had to load the game before it would start downloading. can't even put my ps4 into standby.

 

hopefully it doesn't take long to download.

hopefully it doesn't take long to download.

 

It took me about 1 hour 20 minutes to download it and my internet is kinda middle of the road in terms of performance.

You literally just walk forward from where you spawn. There is a giant glowing green square in the screen and everything. God help anyone with you on their fireteam if this gave you trouble.

mine doesn't have that, i looked around the map 5 times so its obviously a glitch in my game

finally had a bit of spare time to play the game..

 

still not sold on it. just feels like another fps game except with a bit of MMORPG elements here and there. i don't see why everyone is so excited for it.

 

i'll obviously keep playing it to see if i can figure out what it's all about.

So great to be back playing Destiny again. Not even been to the crucible yet as I'm still ranking up my Titan so that when I do finally enter the crucible I dont get killed every 2 seconds.

After i played the beta for a few hours i'm gonna say what i thought this game would be like before i started playing: This game looks like an advanced version of Borderlands. Wich is a good thing because i love that franchise. The game looks stunning,the weapons and combat are perfect,the music score is awesome. But everything else feels nothing special(no wow factor) and that makes Destiny not the next best thing but a decent shooter/mmo mp/sp/pvp.

 

I Don't think there will be a lot of surprises in the final build.Anyway i'm buying this 100% sure on launch.

The massive fights are a blast with a good fireteam, I reccomend playing with friends for the best results. Its a social game for sure and I am having a blast.

I have to agree that when just roaming or doing a strike mission this games becomes alot more fun if your playing with friends and you all have mic's as it's just so much easier to communicate.

So I'm enjoying it so far my one gripe is the fov is absolutely terrible. It feels like the whole screen is set to 40 fov as standard then drops to 30 when you go into iron sites. I would've thought being next gen and being so focused around being an fps they'd have an adjustable fov.
