yes i have a ps4. I already redeemed my beta code at bungie's website so when the beta is there do you receive another code from bungie or how does this work? Never been part of a closed beta actually.

As far as I know closer to the date you will recieve a email asking which system you are using and then once you select your system you will recieve another code that will then allow you to download the beta on your console. So the code you entered at Bungie.net doesn't download anything it just reserves your spot for the Beta and the next code you get will be the one that you'll enter into the PSN store which will then allow you to download the beta.

 

Have you redemeed the 17 trading card codes aswell?

Well here are the trading card codes if you want to redeem them. Nobody knows what they do at the moment they could be ingame content or avatars or wallpapers etc. Only thing we know is that closer to release date we will be told what they do. If you do redeem them you do it over at Bungie.net like you did with the beta code.

Before the Alpha I knew 0% about this game and only registered for a alpha code because of the Sony E3 conference. Gaming wise it has been one of the best decisions I've ever made.

When you say you've got the beta code do you mean the email that ask's you which system you will be playing or do you mean you've just redeemed it on Bungie.net (Like in the screenshot you've shown)

Does this game plays like borderlands? Sp and mp wise? I don't know but from what i saw so far it looks like borderlands wich i don't mind at all.

I've never played Borderlands so I can't really say but people who have say it's nothing like Borderlands. Some people say it is but then other people (majority it seems to me) say the only thing similar is the hit numbers.

 

I've also heard people say its Halo+CoD+Borderlands+MMO etc. So to me it isn't like any other game but a mixture of a sh*t load of games.

Well if I just buy the standard game and the expansion packs it works out at about £15 cheaper for me. I'd rather have that extra £15 rather than spending it on the book and postcards etc that I dont want or care about.

Honestly I cant say I came across any bugs during the alpha, so in that aspect I think there will only be a few bugs to fix. The things that people would liked changed seem to be more of a preference type situation rather than being technical. Like the ghost voice for example.

I didn't mind it, when I first started playing the alpha though all I could here was Peter Dinklage/Tyrion rather than hearing him trying to be the ghost. That being said though Bungie have said that they are working on it and are going to be adding effects to the voice as in the alpha it didn't seem like they had done that yet. So come the full release I dont think people will have any legit issues with it, but you know what the gaming community is like at times though so there will probably still be people who hate it just to hate it.

So I preordered and have been f*cking around trying to get my account to recognize me on the bungie website.

 

Then I find out that the Beta for the Xbox One is only FOUR f*ckING DAYS? What the honest f*ck, even a week is way too f*cking short.

 

Not only that but the worst part is out of the entire motherf*cking year, those EXACT four days are the only days in the year I am out of the country and against my will as well.

 

WHAT A LOAD OF GOD DAMN HORSE sh*t.

 

Why the f*ck are they offering this sh*t as a preorder incentive? f*ck them, I am going to cancel just so they don't have my sale on their books. f*ck them and their bullsh*t.

 

I can't stand exclusives of any form, preorder bonuses and any of that sh*t.

 

We need some f*cking equal sh*t because it is not like I am going to go out and buy a brand new console just to get something earlier, so why the f*ck do they do it other than for money and to piss people off. It benefits us in NO way whatsoever.

 

That sh*t needs to be stomped out immediately. f*ck AAA games and their dog sh*t.

I agree in that Bungie went a little too far with the Playstation exclusives. Lots of timed exclusivity and practically a chunk of the game has been taken out for players that aren't on PS4.

I didn't see the majority Xbox users saying they wanted equality when they got GTA Episodes from Liberty City early or CoD or how Halo has been exclusive to Microsoft. So Sony made a deal with Bungie/Activison that's the way gaming works these days. Is it unfair? Yes, but Sony users have got the worse end of the stick more than not, there isnt much you can do if you only have a XboxOne. To be fair though Bungie did say at the start of revelaing Destiny that PS4 would be getting the majority of stuff first, so it isnt like they have just sprung this on Xbox users.

Yeah my fault I dont know why I put Liberty City Stories when I meant Episodes from Liberty City.

 

Do I think it's bullsh*t? To some degree but that's the deal Bungie/Activison made. Like I pointed out they said from the start that you would get more from Destiny if you had a PS3 or PS4. If the game meant that much to you then why didn't you buy a PS4 or just accept the fact that when the game was released you weren't going to get everything right away.

 

But your last line was telling, as it's clear you only want people to agree with you otherwise everyone is just wrong.
