Booya818
Pretty simple: I'll feel great. I'll be taking time off work to sit around in my dirty old grundies, in front of my big ass TV and I'll be soaking in the game I've been waiting for since GTA IV was released. There's quite simply no other game I want to play as much as this. I wonder how many people will be taking time of for this? A week for me. I've been reminding my boss about it every month lol
Backfire6
lol I will feel jealous of those who got the game. Only because I feel I probably won't have the money to get it by that time. But its not that big of a deal. I have always watched gameplay, leaked gameplays, walkthroughs etc on the first day of release ever since Vice City. So I probably will spend the whole day watching gameplays and wishing I had the game.
GTA 360
I will feel like the 17th is the longest day I will ever have spent at work so far. And then it will be followed by a hard decision as to which copy to play first, Xbox or PS. Then when it is loading, then I will be happy. As long as the game isn't delayed again. And as long as they don't try to check my ID. That would suck if they wouldn't let you buy the game because you were 17 years, 11 months and 1 week old instead of 18. Just put away little bit of money and it will mount up over the next few months!

Damn, I don't think I could manage spending the day at work on the 17th. I'm making sure I have the 17th free. That day would drag in so slow but the feeling of going home to a copy of GTA V lying at the door would be amazing! I hope they don't delay the game again. I doubt they will but you never know with Rockstar. Why don't you buy it online? I didn't pre order GTA IV back in 2008 so I just went around loads of shops looking for one that still had some in stock but I never got ID'd and I was only 16 at the time. JasonAW
I will feel great, this is the first GTA I have been following since it was announced (I didn't get a PS3 until after IV). I'm going to be really happy about bringing home the CE, having a week off and just playing it. But also a bit sad, I am enjoying all this hype and information, and that will be over until the next GTA.
webbo254
Will be like others have said it seems so surreal that we will be finally playing the game after so long. I will probably be so excited just trying to take everything in the first time I play it.
rdfdsv
It's the culmination of virtually two years of waiting and I definitely won't forget the first time I get thrown ingame and control one of the 3 characters, I'll just walk around and admire the surrondings and the sounds. Still remember the first time I played San Andreas, (which this game is like a v2). "Awh sh*t, here we go again, worst place in the world..." waikzguy8998
Honestly it has been a little frustrating waiting this many years for the release and especially after numerous "release delays" However, as weird as it sounds I feel that most of the fun with GTA and a lot of R* games is the anticipation. Granted if there was no information, screenshots, etc. it would be a disaster and people would stop caring after a while. But R* seems to have a way with marketing and anticipation that has drawn us in for the last decade and a half. It's the dam anticipation that makes us love GTA. Not to ramble on any further but look at the innovations that each GTA gives us and the step-up from previous ones and why they made each on so much fun at the time of release, and some of them still fun to this day (I'm looking at you SA). I think that's what draws us in so much and that's what gets us excited about the release and THAT is what keeps us talking and discussing it from first trailer to actual release. - Just look at all the improvements for each installation 1) III-->VC: Helicopters, Motorcycles, Planes, the Hunter, an explorable Mall, outfit changes, colorful atmosphere, property to be purchased, larger city, etc. 2) VC-->SA: Free-Aim system for all weapons, tons more safehouses, Enormous Map Size! more weapons, not 1 but 3 freaking cities that have more explorable places than all of VC in just 1, country side, small towns, mountains, deserts, military bases, longer story, etc 3) SA-->IV: 1st Next Gen GTA (could be the worst but was still amazing graphics), somewhat smoother movement, more realistic NPC's, cell phones, Internet, return to LC. 4) IV-->V : I don't think there's enough space on this page that can detail all the improvements
