d3ex2 Posted May 27, 2013 Share Posted May 27, 2013 We all know that the game would most likely be out by now and that a lot of people would have it completed by now....if it wasn't delayed. I've followed GTA V for the last 580 days. It's been a long wait and at some points it just felt like the game would never arrive. How would you react, on the 25th October 2011, if someone told you that you'd have to wait 1 year 10 months and 23 days to play it? That's nearly 2 years. We are almost there! Imagining myself playing GTA V right now seems so surreal to me. I have been obsessed by this game for so long and it's my most anticipated game. I have looked at screenshots and trailers so many times that I can see the entire map in my head with locations in relation to each other. I haven't even played the game yet I know where things are. This game sometimes feel like it's just a dream or a myth and that I will never play it. When I load the game for the first time and step out into Los Santos it will feel so surreal. I will finally get to step into and explore this world that I have only seen and imagined in my head for so long. I will finally meet Michael, Franklin and Trevor...I haven't forgot Chop! It will feel so new yet familiar and I'll know that the entire place is there just waiting for me to explore it. I will spend hundreds of hours in the map. I will play it so much that I know every road, street, and building. Just thinking that I'm actually going to be playing this and that it's actually a game and not just a dream feels completely surreal to me, I can't f*cking wait! Thankful that the bloody updates and installing is done. Possibly be relaxed after I just had a smoke while I wait for said install and downloading to be done. I still remember almost 2 years ago my mate telling me there was a new GTA coming out and not believing him, he then showed me the first trailer. Can't believe how long ago that was. Yes, it has kind of become routine frequenting the forum ever so often, wondering about the wonders of GTA V. Admittedly I don't really 'care' that much for GTA V anymore as it's kinda second to non it's coming in a few months now, I'm however very excited about the forums. I've met some great people on here, one of which turned out to be a former employee of mine. So yeah, it'll be bittersweet when GTA V finally releases. Yeah man, that's exactly how I feel. I came here in November after the first previews and wasn't around during the info drought. It's still been a long wait, especially around January when they delayed it. I'm glad I found the forums though, because if I didn't, the wait would feel 10x longer. It's been fun. I'll be taking time off work to sit around in my dirty old grundies, in front of my big ass TV and I'll be soaking in the game I've been waiting for since GTA IV was released.
