Do you think I should hibernate from this forum for a while until August? I just realised its still about three months to go until GTAV. I really don't want to spend the summer stuck on this forum. Thing is every time you leave new info comes out. But I still want a break. I think the next batch of info won't arrive till August. Which means I can take a hiatus from here till then. Do you think it's a good risk? When do you think the next piec of info arrives? Oh thin left I see is multiplayer previews and I'm not interested in that. If you frequent a site like CVG, check for news once a day over there, you won't miss anything but speculation. There will definitely be news before August. The hype train is rolling now, it'd be silly if they pumped the breaks. For my money, I think we'll get something pretty soon (before June 15th). You are right, that's far too often, I suggest not logging out in the first place. This. On my Computer I haven't loged out of GTAForums but...five-ish times if that since 2009. Also like man dragon said, just hibernate from the site, I do it all the time, hence why I only have 2600 or so posts after four years of being on the site, compaired to some with less time and allot more posts. Also getting a podcast dedicated to the show helps you get more invested. This will definitely keep you off the forums till August. Here's what I did lol February - Lost Season 1-3 March - Lost Season 4-6 April - Fringe Season 1-3 May - Person Of Interest Season 1-2, Bates Motel Will probably do the following: June - Arrested Development Season 1-4 July - Community Season 1-3 August - Game Of Thrones Season 3 September: Fringe Season 4-5 Other Shows: Miami Vice Season 1&2, Arrow, Sons Of Anarchy, Mad Men, Walking Dead Trust me it works Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I find that when I crave a new game coming out, absolutely no others can satiate my want for it, so every time I play other games I start thinking about V and how it will be. This doesn't happen with movies and television. If you're like me, you have a list (mental or physical) of things you need to get around to watching - try to check off as many things as possible, and the next thing you know, you'll be playing GTA V. .Emmi Posted May 27, 2013 Share Posted May 27, 2013 Since October 2011 I spend about 90% of all my free time browsing the internet and looking for new GTAV news or assets - I couldn't concentrate on school because I was always thinking about this game, GTAV - and I still do - my grades from first half of the school year were pretty solid - but now every grade is at least 1 grade worse to these from 1. half - so I HAVE GOT A SERIOUS PROBLEM with my mum and dad My mum will immediately switch off the internet once I show here the final school report of this year, she will scream for days - I won't have access to the internet for a whole 3 months or so - July-September - then school starts again and GTAV comes out right at the start of the new year - I don't know how I manage to play this game at launch - my mum won't allow me to set up my PS3, maybe she lets me access the internet then again but about playing the game, geez I have to make a plan for that! When the first trailer was announced I knew we wouldn't be getting any new info for a good while so I didn't bother visiting any more. It was about a year ago when I started visiting regularly again then it was another 2 months before we got any new info. It was the first two screens of the helicopter and the guy sitting by the water. Ever since then I've been visiting a lot. When they delayed the game I did the same again...just stopped visiting all the time. Created this new account about a month ago because I forgot my password on the old one. There is only 3 1/2 months left to go. September will be here in no time for me. Just keep yourself busy with other things. I've spent a lot of time reading, playing other games and watching TV shows. I still have a load of books left to read and games to play so I will be kept busy! The next new info will probably be multiplayer. I'm not interested in anything else at this point. Not a big fan of multiplayer, we have the release day, box art, info on SE/CE, got enough screenshots/trailers and info about the game and my pre order is placed. Just a matter of time now. July - Hands on preview. - Give the press hands on. August - Game goes gold. I assume at the end so that gives 17 days to print the disks and ship them off to retailers. September - Game comes out. Anyway, I log in here mostly at the end of the day, sometimes 1 or 2 during the day when I see something new around and look for more info. Just join Rockstar group on Facebook and check your messages or keep it open, when new screens are released or something announced it's the first place the info is posted, you don't even need to be lurking the NewsWire. You can also join a few other FB groups related to GTA V that also update their info pretty fast. As for something new, I think every week there will be something, maybe a screen some tease... tomorrow is Tuesday one of the favorite days of Rockstar to post new something, so keep an eye on it tomorrow. Explosion of screenshots, artwork and whatever else Rockstar wants to throw at us. I don't think we've forgotten what Take Two said about marketing GTA V around the time of E3, right? They weren't going there with GTA V, but they would have an 'innovative marketing campaign' for the game around the time of E3. It's probably going to be like christmas for us GTA fans around that time. But honestly...if not...good too. I just want the months to go faster now and just let us play the damn thing. It's come to a point for me where i really do not need any more updates, previews of sites telling me how awesome it is...long story short...it simply should be September 17th now. It was awesome to see Adriaan say 'get ready for the explosion' last year when big new updates were coming for the game. But the delay put the game so far into this year...that the waiting has become so much longer too. We've gotten plenty of information now, and if i'm 100% honest, i wish i had never read all that. Imagine going into that game 100% fresh...finding out about ALL the great stuff they added, thhings they at first said were not going to be in it, and then you find out they ARE in it...ah man.
