IIIRC, San Andreas released a good 7 months before the advent of the Xbox 360, unlike this time around when GTAV releases a mere 2-3months before PS4. Exactly and these new systems are not even going to be backwards compatible. San andreas released a couple months before xbox 360, they never ported san andreas. They won't because they want you to double dip. I'm thinking next spring for PS4/XO/PC versions with all the DLC included with maybe even exclusive DLC for those formats accept for PC. Ignore the SA example as its different (years between releases) Remember how people thought that Lost & Damned etc was just an XBOX 360 exclusive, but was later released on PS3 and PC? MS and Sony plugging them money is the only way I can see it happening. Otherwise if Rockstar spend money porting it to a new console themselves, they just aren't going to make any money. Now if they dont make a PC version at all (which I highly doubt) there will never be a Ps4/XBone GTA V. Even if they do make it for next gen, it wont be available atleast until next year. d3ex2 Posted May 27, 2013 Share Posted May 27, 2013 Yeah it will be out on PS4 (not sure about Xbox 1). SONY plans to use Gaikai to allow the PS4 to play all PS1/2 and 3 games eventually. Not at launch but in about 2-3 years maybe. Rockstar could port the game over as a "PS3 Classic" like they did with III/VC/SA but don't expect that for a long time. Or they could be working on a true PS4 version with better graphics/performance. Who knows? They haven't even announced PC yet. The PS4/XBOX1 uses a similar architecture to PC so it will be easier to create games. If they are making a PC version they could port it to PS4/XBOX 1 or the other way around. Nobody knows.
