Apex
No offence but it's because your computer is complete garbage, your processor is 1ghz lol. And you didn't list what graphics card you have, just that it's a Radeon. I would recommend you to get at least a medium-high end PC before trying to play IV, it is terribly optimized, even the best PCs have problems running it on highest settings. radioman
And you didn't list what graphics card you have, just that it's a Radeon. According to K-Mart.com, for that make and model PC(which is a laptop), has a AMD Radeon 6250, which is very weak and not good for newer games. Also, not only is that a very weak Dual Core processor(bout the same as a Sempron, if not weaker?) is only 1GHZ, which for AMD Processors, you need at least 2.4GHZ for this game(according to the box the game comes in AND the Pinned "Can I Run It.." thread... Since this is a laptop, however, there is NO way to upgrade it to make it work right with this game(or newer games for that matter)..So, you need a NEW and better PC to run the game without lag and properly. You CAN run III(set in same city as IV-Liberty City) and VC just fine at good settings without lag( even SA, which requires much less specs than IV might be pushing it a little with this PC?) So, IF you want to play a Liberty City game on this PC, go with GTA III, it is Liberty City and will run just fine on high settings.
