All i'm interested in is the game. All of this "extra" stuff is JUNK. Most of it will end up in the garbage at some point.

So you're happy to pay MORE for them to rip stuff out of the game just to offer it as DLC for those who pay more over actual physical items where they have to put effort in?

 

Think of it, all content SHOULD be included in the game right away, this is a publishers choice which screws over gamers, special editions SHOULD just be reserved for extra physical goodies, if you don't want extra physical goodies, then don't buy the special editions!

I am still trying to figure out if the Collectors Edition is worth it. It is £120 in the UK.

for me it's already worth it, but I'd like a t shirt more than the cap, or a replica, the statue of happiness replica was epic, it wasn't in IV CE but smth like this would make it worth 200 or more for me^^

Probably just a ton more in-game weapons, DLC missions, DLC vehicles, downloadable characters for single player free-roam (not missions and not just for MP)

I'm also beginning to like the idea of the gold bar usb stick. I think this would have been a really cool item either as a collectable or for functional use. I'm actually surprised it wasn't offered in the package, because I recall seeing a thread with a picture of these that were given to a select group of media personal that had information on them. I would have thought it would be pretty easy to make more of them and add them to the CE or maybe even the special edition package.

If you got the $$$ do it...Custom online characters...for this I would pay $250.

Well, I got the CE just because I will only pay $75 for it, but that's another story.

 

I would have payed the full $150 for it without a problem if the physical items were better. I love the idea of a steelbook so that's cool

 

The blueprint map is great because it has special locations and is in tune with the heist theme. The security bag is in tune with the theme but I think they could have made a better item related to heists like a small safe or a wad of GTA V dollar bills!

 

Also, the cap just f*cking sucks, I don't wear hats but I mean come on! An iFruit phone would have made a great substitute, not a working one of course. Just a plastic replica of an iFruit, like those fake plastic iPhones that you see in toy shops.

 

Or also, instead of the cap, a replica of a mask that is used in one of the heists would have been amazingly cool!

 

And finally the box that the game and the special content comes in looks plain. If the game came in a small safe like those small ones that people set up on walls it would be incredible too! Let the combination be 5, 5, 5 or 4-8-2 (it spells GTA in a phone)

 

Anyways, those are my thoughts on physical items, lets not get me started on the digital!

 

If it had some of these items I would even pay $200 for it!
