Grand Theft Savage
What is the best possible website to order GTA V: Special Edition from? I just read that it can only be delivered and not picked up, so now I need to order it. So I went to GameStop.com and they want me to wait 4-5 business days. I want that my sh*t day 1. Where should I go? Feel free to lock when I have my answer

Audiophile
Same problem. I am thinking of going with R* Warehouse because on their site it says you will get it on release day....but international pre-orders likely won't for obvious reasons. I live in Toronto, Canada so....I don't know. EB Games (Gamespot) apparently says you will get it on day one if you pre-order but people that I know generally get their sh*t a few days later when it's EB Games. And this is why....I want a digital download. I can just download it and be playing by morning of the 17th because PSN unlocks the digital downloads for day one digital games at midnight of release. Yeah a physical copy of the game is great but playing it on release day is even better. @Grand Theft Savage You live in the USA? So pre-order from R* Warehouse brah. http://support.rockstargames.com/entries/2...to-V-pre-orders Answer: Grand Theft Auto V pre-orders from the Rockstar Warehouse will be shipped ahead of release. They should arrive to customers on launch day. Please note that shipping and arrival dates are not guaranteed for any location. If you live outside North America/EU, please check availability with your local retailer. Grand Theft Savage
Thanks a lot! This was actually very helpful. I'm happy as hell it arrives on the launch date
Audiophile
Thanks a lot! This was actually very helpful. I'm happy as hell it arrives on the launch date You're welcome bro. I hope everyone can get this game on release. The thing that worries me is: Please note that shipping and arrival dates are not guaranteed for any location. But I think R* Warehouse is the best place to pre-order from if you are in North America based on the other options...Gamespot and Best Buy. Best Buy especially tends to ship out pre-ordered games on the actual release date so you'll be waiting a good while. And Gamespot is just lol. BeardedxMic
I started using Amazon, and it was actually pretty dependable about Day 1 delivery. But with GTA, I want it midnight the day before, So I just went to GameStop.
dee8ball
I always buy from amazon. It always comes in time and i got the special edition for $56 with prime.
Scampi
I always buy from amazon. It always comes in time and i got the special edition for $56 with prime. How did you swing that price? I might be able to do a temporary 1 month Prime trial (if they still offer those), but did you already have a gift card or what? Also since I'm asking does anyone know what Amazon's release-day shipping costs without prime? It won't tell me unless I try to follow through with the order. Does Rockstar offer free shipping? I doubt it, but just checking. Best Buy wanted $11.
TheGodDamnMaster
I'm going to order my Special Edition the instant I get the address for my new dorm room. I'm getting it from the R* warehouse because it comes with the tee-shirt. I was contemplating getting the Collector's Edition, but it really is a rip-off, at least in my opinion. I don't think I could see myself wearing that cap (I don't wear hats to begin with), and I fail to see the worth of a money bag because most people have places to stash things like lock-boxes, closets and mini-safes. I wish they would have done something else instead of that bag, maybe then I would have considered the investment. As it stands, $150 is a rip-off given what the extras are really worth. I live in Canada tho so I was going to pre-order from Amazon.ca and based on what I have read about it's nothing like the US version. It's not that reliable when it comes to getting your packages on release day. Dat feel. Johan
If you're from the East Coast like I am then I'd recommend Amazon, you can pick Rockstar's Warehouse but I don't really trust them yet since I never pre-ordered anything there. Amazon actually has reliable release date shipping
