I pre-ordered the special edition from R* Warehouse and they don't charge your credit card until September 17th. If you want to pre-order in-store you don't need to put down the full amount. I have the standard edition pre-ordered at EB Games (Gamespot) and they only wanted $5 from me for the pre-order. You pay the full amount on the release day. Not sure if you need to put more down to reserve the collectors. So I would do it now just to get a copy reserved and then pay it off in September. I had difficulty pre ordering it too, i could only get the SE cause they were really rare to get them at the store, it was whoever payed the highest first and i just missed out. They said they weren't limited per store but that they might be limited to how many copies GameStop the cooperation bought. Luckily, I went to the town to pre-order it in GAME on the day it was announced. I went on Friday, the day after. Would of gone on Thursday, but only heard about it around 4-ish, so I never really had much time.
