Saintdestroyer
I mean people who wanted to buy it and play it would of done so by then, and if it comes out middle of next year alongside the pc version which people are prediciting, well we'd be done with it. We would of got 100% by then and wouldn't see the need - I think - to double dip. They would have to include a lot of extra stuff to warrant me picking the game up AGAIN, shiner graphics wouldn't cut I'm afraid, and besides who does that?! Releasing current gen games on next gen consoles is something that happens at launch, like need for speed most wanted for example, nobody does it a year or so after. I also don't buy their "already established" audience because the game would still sell a year or two down the line without even having a price drop, and I know for a fact it would buy more consoles. Also, it can't be THAT much more expensive to even release it on next gen as well, even as a digital download. I just think its silly releasing the game at the same time new consoles come out, though I suppose much like San Andreas, it would make a good swan song. I dunno, what do you guys think? Masher8559
PC users who own a console buy it again when it releases on PC. I see no reason why people who will end up owning the next gen consoles wouldn't also buy the game again if it contained visual and performance upgrades like the PC version normally does. If they are willing to spend the kind of money they are on Special edition and collectors edition I am sure they will splash out on a new gen version when the time comes. Better graphics and More life filling the game.. Maybe you can put that well saved $50 towards the tissues you will require when you see how much better it will look.. I dunno. If rather them work on the next instalment then spending a year porting. The thing is, having it launch at the same time as current gen, a lot of people would just buy next gen. Similar reason there's no PC launch at first. By delaying a potential Next gen launch, and the PC version, it means many people (even if it doesn't include you) will buy it a second time, when they otherwise wouldn't. Hollywood4Life
I would buy it again on next gen. It would be sweet if it had updates to graphics and it would most certainly have enhanced processing power to streamline the experience. Having GTA 5 available on next gen would actually give me the incentive to buy a new console.

OliRow
I'd absolutely buy the game again, and I think the majority would aswell. Think about how many people will want to play the game for a long time, people are still actively playing IV. Surely people who are buying the Xbox One/PS4 will want to have the game on that in a year or 2 instead of having to boot up their Xbox 360/PS3. saintsrow
Sometime in 2014 or so, when I finally decide the time is right to buy a next gen console (because I am going to wait a while to see whether Microsoft or Sony try harder to dominate the living room set top box market at the expense of gamers), then I will get a Next Gen GTAV GOTY with all the good content produced as DLC until that time, and have a fun time replaying the game in that new improved next gen world. DuPz0r
I agree that people will buy it again for next gen. It has the potential to look as good as the official screenshots on a next gen platform, and by now everyone knows official screenshots are rendered and tweaked. People always like a prettier game, and if they get to play GTA V and GTAO over again with nicer looking graphics, they will do that.
