Go behind the scenes?

I like that once you finished each Uncharted game Naughty Dog gave you a series of behind the scenes videos showing development of it. I know R* hasn't done that with GTA before. But would anyone want to have a quick video as to how they developed this GTA after you get to 100% completion or complete the story missions?

Nah that was actually published as opposed to the other book that's supposed to exist. "Jacked wasn't official, and perpetuated many myths and falsehoods that people now assume to be true just because it was in an unoffical book.

Honestly I never paid much attention to these sorts of things in games until recently (last couple of years). Some games I really enjoyed seeing things like voice recording studio clips, motion capture sessions, arguments between over-caffeinated and sleep-deprived team members, etc. I remember watching this sort of stuff for God of War III; the voice recording sessions were cool because some were well-known actors (Kevin Sorbo as Hercules for the win!).

 

So, yeah, it'd be neat, especially for a game as massive as this.

They do it all over, mostly in NY though. Here is Lazlow on the Opie and Anthony Show talking about how they do the sound. This interview is about MP3 but the process is similar.

 

 

 

 

During the show, Lazlow talks about how one of the producers that was there to record the voices in Sao Paola received a distressing call, practically minutes after the production crew had landed.  The producer's mother had called in a panic to the producer saying that she had received a call that the producer had been kidnapped.

 

 

Then on day 2, a casting crew member there to assist with the recordings received a message on Facebook that a friend of hers had been tied up and robbed in his home.  Luckily, the friend still had his mobile phone and was able to message the crew member.  Once the crew member received the message, she stopped the recording to call the police about the robbery.
