GTA V to take a Dishonored approach

I was thinking since you can plan your heist to be stealth or go in guns blazing well It came to my mind the multiple ending thing so what if GTA V will keep track on what you do like if go guns blazing you'll be on your way to the bad ending or if you do stealth you head to good ending but if you do both you go to almost close look a like ending to both endings like one protag dies or something what do you think

I highly doubt they will do this and I certainly hope they won't. Dishonored was a stealth game at its core so playing stealthy rewarded you more than killing everyone in your way. However GTA V should let you play the game however you want and not punish or reward you for the way you choose to play it.

I'm the same I don't think strategy will affect the outcome of the story. It would be good if it did seeing how I would be doing everything in stealth

It's pretty painful to see people talk about Rockstar taking aproaches from games like Dishonored for choices/stealth when they fail in both aspects.

 

GTA is taking the GTA with a new aspect, it doesn't borrow from crap games.

....dishonored wasnt a bad game -_-

 

Game devs take notes of all games and what people like. The fact that stealth is even in a gta game is amazing and proof of that because its never been in a gta game yet.

 

Different story routes would be amazing, the likelyhood is sadly zero though.

I'm with this, especially when it comes to stealth in games. Most of the games I can think of that allow for multiple "strategies" almost always reward the player more for using stealth (e.g., games in the Deus Ex and Splinter Cell series). My examples are a little flawed since you could argue they're primarily stealth games, but that's kind of the point. Don't give me the apparent option to play the game how I want, but consistently give greater rewards (ease, XP, etc.) to one approach.

The only difference your strategy should make is the amount of hired criminals you lose on the job, if you get everyones attention then they are more likely to be shot.
