Neither is better that the other. @kudoboi I don't know why you think GTA's stories are sub par, but it's what drove the series throughout its releases. Shenmue18 Posted May 27, 2013 Share Posted May 27, 2013 The two really aren't very comparable, if you're talking about the generic FPS then hands down GTA, but The Walking Dead game by Telltale, while it's a great story, is a point and click game that's practically an interactive movie. It's like comparing milk to light bulbs. There is almost no comparable qualities between the two. You can say GTA's gameplay is better, but it's not the point of the Walking Dead game to have stellar gameplay, it's to tell a story that you control, while GTA's gameplay is meant to be enjoyable and fun, while the story isn't really controllable by the player except on very few occasions in the series. I know there are some good threads but there are far too many pointless polls. I think polls should only be allowed after permission from a led-by or admin. It makes sense. edit: Btw. If you want to compare point and click games you'd be better off comparing it with Monkey Island. In which case, that would get my vote. I haven't completed The Walking Dead yet but from what I played I didn't think it was worthy of GOTY. It did nothing innovative. It shows how pointless award ceremonies are.
